Iris were looking around the house until she stop and looked at the mantelpiece with the picture of the sparrow Iris. She looks like around the age but a bit older when Iris lost her Ben.

"Are you going to keep staring at me like that or you got something to say?" Iris didn't even bother to turned around and keep looking at the mantelpiece.

"Sorry, I just thought you were our Iris for a second." Jayme said as she and Alphonso approach her. Iris just hummed in response.

"Do you miss her that much?" Iris asked them.

"So much." Jayme replied as they look at the mantelpiece too.

"Me too." Alphonso said. "Seeing you here, feels like... She's here... like she never left. You even sat at her usually seat at the dining table earlier."

"Kind of figured that she must be so kind and so sweet making you guys so fond of her."

"She's like an angel." Jayme spoke while her mind rewinding their memories. Their Iris had hurt them a couple of times but they know that Iris didn't meant it. She had no control of her power.

"That's mean I'm a demon. Wow guys. Thanks." She said making Alphonso and Jayme laughed.

"Actually, dad did called you a demon. He mean you not our Iris." Jayme added making Iris turned to her, wanting to feel offended but she know it was the truth. She just shrugged.

"No word could explain, how kind of person she is. We love everything about her except... that thing inside of her. That cause her a lot of pain." Alphonso spoke.

"Do you have it too?" Jayme asked and she just nodded. "How did you survived?"

"Someone died. Someone so dear to me." She spoke softly. They were silent, didn't know how to replied.

"Who?" Alphonso asked.

She paused. "Our Ben." They feel sympathy for her. "He's... everything. He's my everything. I miss him." There's sadness in her eyes but she fight herself from showing it. They actually feel bad for asking.
