Soon after the top 10 heroes, were announced Hawks invited Endeavor out to lunch to discuss something rather Important
Endeavor: what did you want to speak about?
Hawks: well I was just wondering, how are you holding up? Y'know as the new number one
Endeavor: I didn't earn this position...To be honest, I don't deserve it, I was too slow and my predecessor is gone, and so is his wife. Now his children are orphans
Hawks: you were busy with Nomus right?
Endeavor: yes, but there were other heroes, I was asked to assist but I told them All Might would be fine
Hawks: how could you have expected any of it? Those Giant monsters, All for one, and All Might's quirk giving out
Endeavor: why does it matter to you anyways?
Hawks: you are the next pillar of society
Endeavor: that is where you are wrong, I may not like him but Izuku is truly the future of society, he's seen its flaws and understands its strengths
Hawks: oh yeah that kid, I've only ever seen him at the funeral, maybe in a few years he'll take his father's mantel
Endeavor: I've known Izuku since he was a little boy... I didn't act kindly to him, he was a late bloomer you see, I had just lost Touya and... Forbade Shoto and Shoka to see him. Maybe if I didn't do that he would have turned out better
Hawks: what do you mean?
Endeavor: there was... An accident, he ran off and fell down some kind of casm that closed back up, none of us could break it. We thought he was dead, only for him to reappear a week later with no memory of what happened, and his new power
Hawks: are we sure it wasn't all for one? Maybe-
Endeavor: no, he may be a child but he's always been highly intelligent, he would have known better
Hawks: come to think of it, isn't it a little strange? None of us had ever heard of a titan until he got his power
Endeavor: whatever you are insinuating drop it, Izuku hates Titans more than anything. His goal is to eradicate them all
Hawks and Endeavor sat down and began to order their food
Hawks: he may not be the cause but he has to be connected, I mean the league of villains uses them too
Endeavor: that's true, so have they given up on Nomus? Seeing as how they have giant many eating beasts at their disposal
Hawks: I don't know, that's another reason I wanted to talk, I've been hearing about some Nomu sightings-
Endeavor: GET DOWN!
At that moment a grotesque-looking Nomu crashed through the window
Nomu: s-strongest! Give me the strongest!
Hawks: it talks!
Endeavor tackled the Nomu out of the window and began fighting, Hawks began using his feathers to evacuate as many as he could
Endeavor used one of his Ultimate moves to try and incinerate the Nomu only for the thing to regenerate
Hood: haha! You're supposed to be the strongest?
Endeavor: what the hell is going on-
