We've been walking down the sidewalk for hours and still haven't found any place to live yet.
We then started to walk down a neighborhood.
"Hey there's abandoned house over there." Jannik said
"About time." I groaned
We then walked over to the house finding it in a decent amount of shape.
"Looks fine if you ask me." I said
"It looks decent enough." Jannik said looking around.
"You think Arrow knows we survived?" I asked
"Probably, he probably saw the portal I made right when it closed behind us." Jannik said
"I see, guess we have to watch our backs then." I said
"Never let your guard down." Jannik said
"That's for sure." I said
We then went inside of the abandoned house and looked around the inside.
"It seems pretty sturdy and fixable as well." I said
"Then we should get to work on the place now." Jannik said
"Yeah." I said
We then split up and started to repair the house and anything we could. After 3 hard months of working on the house we finally fixed it up and got the water and electricity working. We even found some spare rooms and decided to make them into our own separate rooms and was able to paint the colors we wanted.
"That took a long time." I said
"Yeah, but at least we have a place to live though." Jannik said
"Our wounds are all healed though." I said
"Yeah, that's a bonus." Jannik said
"We should go look for some furniture for the house now." I said
We then walked a couple miles down the sidewalk til we reached a furniture store.
"Since we don't have money wanna portal the furniture to the house so we don't have to deal with police?" I asked
Jannik sighed "Fine, but only because we need to finish the house."
We then split up and went around the store looking for stuff we liked and when no one was looking out a portal under it and sent it to the house.
After 2 hours we met up and walked out of the store and into an alleyway and we walked back to the house.
When we got there we organized the furniture the way we wanted it. We also had some torches in as light as well.
