Dark Leonardo
You had gotten used to living in the mansion, although you only ever traveled from your room and to the dining room. You usually always ate alone. It never really bothered you though, what bothered you was the fact that the mansion was filled with foot solders. They were his servants obeying his every command, cooking, cleaning, and sometimes making sure you were comfortable. You were starting to get used to the fact that Dark Leo wanting things done a certain way. Take your wardrobe for example consisted of nothing but dresses, from short to long, summer to winter, and fancy to casual.
You let out a sigh as you ran your fingers through you H/C, you looked down at the lavender color night gown. It was slightly thin but still thick enough that nothing could be seen, the silky fabric went all the way down to you ankles, the sleeves went all the way to your wrists. The mansion got rather cool in the evenings since it was turing into beginning of the fall months.
You looked over at the lite blue analog clock sitting on the table next to your bed. The time showed that it was almost 10:30. You sat there at thought to yourself for a moment about how Dark Leo was also a creature of habit. Every night he would stop by your room at 9, and say the same thing.
"Y/N have you had a good day?"
His yellow eye locked on your E/C. When he first started doing this you would simply just nod your head, before laying yourself down for the night. Here lately you have actually been responding.
"It was okay."
His face would soften now that you would speak to him and he would say the same thing.
"I hope tomorrow is better. Good night Y/N."
With that he would shut the door and expect you to go to sleep, you had found out from looking out your window every night that he would leave the house. He would usually come back around midnight, you knew this because you had grown accustom to him opening your door around that time and checking on you.
He had done the same thing tonight but instead of going to bed, you were curious of what secrets the mansion held. You glanced at the clock and decided that you had time. Gently you rose from the bed letting your bare feet touch the cool hard wood, you slowly opened the door revealing an empty hallway. No now was in sight as you started to head towards a set of steps that you have never dared to go up. Taking one step at at time you kept looking over your shoulder, making sure you hadn't alerted anyone.
As you reached the step you noticed that there was only one door down the hall way, you timidly placed your hand on the door knob, looking over your shoulder once again. Letting out a deep sigh you turned the handle and pushed the door in revealing more darkness. You held your breath as you entered sliding down the wall trying to reach the light switch, soon your hand had found the little knob sticking out the wall. Flicking it upwards in one motion the room became illuminated with bright light, momentarily blinding you.
"Oh my gosh."
You muttered as you looked around at the gigantic library. There was a golden chandler hanging from the ceiling, a golden couch with toe old fashioned chairs to match them, a rather large coffee table in the middle in front of the fire place. Books lined all the selfs and the floor in piles, there was a spiral staircase that led to more walls lined with more books. You were so captivated by everything around you that you failed to notice a presence behind you.
"It's awfully late for you to be wandering around."
The deep voice made you jump and when you turned you became face to face with the blue skinned turtle, you felt the color drain from your face as you looked up at him afraid that you would soon be throw back into the dungeon.
"Your not supposed to be home."
You muttered as he chuckled walking past you, looking around at the library. He stopped and crossed his arms over his plastron before turning back to face you.
"Your not supposed to be awake. I guess were both full of surprises."
He said as he began to step closer to you. You couldn't bring yourself to move, something about him captivated you, he kept his yellow eye locked on your E/C.
"Am I allowed to come to library more often?"
You asked as he was now inches away from your face, he wore a smirk that made you feel something in your chest. You couldn't tell if it was excitement or heart break as your blue clad turtle flashed in your head. You somewhat felt like a traitor, ever since you had been set free from the dungeon.
"You are allowed to go where ever you want in the mansion. I had a feeling you would like it in here once you saw it."
He said in a kind voice as he looked down at you, he had kindness in his eyes, causing your stomach to do backflips. In that moment you knew that your heart was entering dangerous territory.
