The gala is something that everyone has been looking for, its nearly the end of the year and the mayor has not spared any expenses, expensive food, wines and prizes for raffles for the entire city is to be consumed and be given away.

But this is something that I have been dreading. One of the governor's son has been  non stop pestering me a month before and Im getting stressed out.

"Youre not going to the gala?" I hear Yor ask and I look up to her beautiful face, she picks me up in a bridal way and sits on the sofa, with me cuddling to her.

"You work at the government too, why youre not going?" I retorted.

"Well youre not going and I dont like crowds that much." She then leans onto my head and kisses my nose. We both smiled at each other when a knock on the door, interrupting us.

"I got it." I stand up and open the door, only to be met by Matthias and his butler, who is holding a lot of shopping bags from a very expensive clothing merchant.

"Hello baby, I brought you these gifts so we can come to the gala." He smiles and have the butler get inside to the living room. I look at Yor and she just looks empty. Nothing.

"Matthias please, I have told you no countless of times and I am not going to the gala with you." He grabs my hand but a dark aura surrounds us and a hand grab his wrist and twist it, not to break it but to elicit pain which made him cry.

His butler stops the hand and I can see that its Yor, her face is so dark while her other hand is holding my waist tightly.

"Leave. My girlfriend doesnt want to see you. Get your stuff outside." The butler nods and quickly get the stuff out. Matthias just remain sulking while holding his cries as Yor didnt stop until the butler got out again.

"You stupid woman will hear about this. And you!" He points at me, but he just stutter and his butler bowed ro us before guiding his master out.

"Were you hurt?" Yor ask me and I tightly embrace her, she taps my legs and I jump to her while she easily catches me.

"No. Lets just sleep." I mumble to her shoulder and she nods. She holds me into her arms and sang me a song until we both fell asleep
