Chapter 7: Roxanne, the Rock-loving Student (Part Two)

Y/N's POV:

"You wish to continue this fight... Very well."

The area was tense, with two of us both having the last Pokemon in our arsenal. Roxanne was getting ready to obliterate me with her Nosepass, as I placed my faith on the Taillow I have right now.

As I prepared for battle, I began to say my silent prayers, hoping that I would be able to overcome this.

My ace and the wild card had been knocked out, and my only hope has an intense weakness against rocks. My odds weren't great at all.

But despite all that, I looked at Yone and saw that she was ready to give it all she has.

And just as she said... I have to trust and put my faith in her, hoping for a miracle to happen.

Right now, I have no other choice. I have to do this. I'm not going down without a fight.

"Alright Yone, I'm counting on you." I nodded at her.

"Not to worry Y/N-sama..." She then makes a stance getting ready for battle, with a fierce gaze aimed at the Nosepass.

"There will be bloodshed."

...She didn't have to say that, but alright.

"Nosepass, use Tackle." Roxanne, who took the initiative to take the first move, commanded her Nosepass to rush over Yone to take her down.

"Yone, dodge and use double team." I looked at Yone, to which she responds, dodging the Nosepass by jumping out of the way.

Then she does the following move, focusing and moving incredibly fast, her movements creating afterimages of herself. It was as if she had shadow clones, like a ninja.

"Nosepass, use Rock tomb!" Roxanne commanded her Nosepass once again, to use that same move that defeated Hina earlier.

But looking at Yone, she knew what she had to do. Utilizing the speed she has right now, she began to dodge the rocks that were aimed at her in a flashy manner.

The Nosepass' frustration was growing further, as each rock couldn't even touch the afterimages Yone created by the move she had.

It was working. And if we keep this up, we could survive this!

The strategy was to tire out the Nosepass from using those moves, and hopefully... Strike it down when it's exhausted. And as of now, it looks like we both got it in check.

... I guess the risk was worth taking after all.

"That's it! Continue using Double team! Don't let your Opponent manage to even land a single hit!" I said.

I continued to encourage Yone to continue with her moves, as she continued to increase her speed further.

"Tch! Nosepass! Use Rock tomb once again!" Roxanne, whose frustration was visible, urged the Nosepass to hit Yone no matter what, but despite how strong the Rock tomb was, it never hit Yone.

Not even a single rock could even touch her body at what she is right now.

And then... It was time.

The Nosepass reached its limit, and couldn't conjure another Rock tomb.

Noticing this, the Nosepass widened its eyes in shock, realizing the predicament she was in.

Noticing this, Yone finally shifted from defensive to offensive, now getting ready to charge at the opponent.

"The target's wide open! Yone hit it with an Aerial Ace!"

I commanded Yone to finally make her move, as she began to soar up above getting ready to strike. And in an instant, she flashed to the Nosepass dealing damage to the opponent at such high speed.
