i woke up the next morning feeling foggy. what happened yesterday again? oh right. maybe that's why im still exhausted. i double-tapped my phone. the screen lit up and the big, white letters exclaimed '9:00 AM'. of course i was up earlier, i went to bed early yesterday. 

'whatever, i better get up.'

i crawled out from my covers and turned my pc on. once it loaded, i put in my password and immediately went onto discord. i saw i had a couple messages from nick saying goodnight. but, i also had a message from the guy i had accepted a friend request from last night. 

/ woah you accepted fast

hey wake up

'what a loser.' i said while cracking a smile. i decided to type back, carefully picking out something to say.

/ hey, sorry for not responding last night

i was asleep lol /

'meh, good enough..' i said while checking out my other notifications. suddenly, a ping noise was heard.

i laughed a bit thinking about how it's like a domino effect. accepting the friend request, i chose to be the one to send the first message.

'yeah sure.'

i just sent him back a 'mhm..' and sat back in my chair. i guess i could make myself breakfast now. i got up from my chair and crawled to my kitchen. i didn't necessarily know what to make myself. 

'i guess i could have cereal again, but that would be kind of borin-' my train of thought was cut off by a familiar ring tone coming from my phone. 

'i swear to god if this is you nick.' 

i look over to see that it's actually not nick. it's larry. what an INSANE plot twist. i tap the join call button. once i connected, i was the first to say something.

"hello?" i called out.

"[name]! my phone died so i asked larry to hand me his." nick responds.

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

"jesus christ, what happened now?" i ask, rubbing my temples.

"so basically, i had a question. what if i added you into the 'group chat' role in my server?" 

"is that all?" 

"yeah."

"sure whatever, i don't mind."
