it was now lunch time and kee was walking me to the cafeteria. i had to say this school was nicer than the one i was at last and it made me feel much more comfortable
she led me to a table where i saw a group of people sitting at, their faces lighting up as we walked up
"so y'all this bia make her feel welcomed"
i smiled at her words and slightly waved at the group, 3 boys and a girl.
"wassup im dd nice ta meet you. that one right there is alayah and the other two are ty and mari"
"nice to meet y'all too"
"how you feeling bout' da school so far ?" the boy whose name i now know is dd spoke up and asked
"i like it a lot, it's just big as hell" i said back laughing a bit causing the rest of the group to laugh and agree also
"don't be shy mama sit down" ty said to me
"don't be calling that girl mama, youn even kno ha like that" alayah said giggling
"i know that's right" kee chimed in sitting down next to me
i placed my belongings on the floor and began conversing in the conversation
"ion know bout y'all but im hungry as fuck" alayah said getting up
"come wimme to get some bia"
i nodded my head and got up with her tripping over kee leg in the process. i looked up at her a lil embarrassed but she didn't seem to care
"bring me some back layah" she said helping me up
"only if you got lunch money, cause shits expensive nowadays" alayah said walking away from the table
all i could do is laugh as i followed behind her getting in line.

we finished eating our food a lil before the bell rung and was now leaving the cafeteria
"aye befo we go our separate ways lemme get yo number bia" kee stated more than asked but i didn't mind
"lemme see ya phone"
i put my number in and saved my name as "big b💘"
"big b" she asked i shoved ha shoulder a bit and began to speak
"girl fuck you"
i said my goodbyes to dd, ty and alayah not seeing mari anywhere in sight
"where mari go ?" i asked kee as we walked down the halls just as the second bell rung
she pointed to him walking with some dude into a classroom
"down there with his nigga hakeem" she said laughing
"he don't talk much do he" i said laughin back with her
"not roun new people but he'll warm up to you eventually"
i nodded in response, taking my schedule out again looking over it
"my last 2 classes are williams and bull so i guess i'll see you later huh" i told kee as she looked at me
"yeah i'll see you later, you know where them classes at right. ion mind skipping if you need help" said girl stated
"i got it kee i promise you"
"ight now big b" she said giggling as i swung out and tried to hit her
she screamed and ran down the hallways as i turned around rolling my eyes at her foolishness
