bia and i now were now at a place where my friends called it "the spot"
dd had took me out here one day to get away from all the negativity at school and since then i've always come here
"this is niceee, ain't got no roaches or nothing" she said mimicking that one tiktok sound
"hell yeah we like to keep it clean"
"we ?" she asked as she sat down on one of the chairs
"dd and i" she nodded at me as she got comfortable placing her bags down
i did the same then went to sit next to her taking in her appearance fully
"why you looking at me like that" she asked laughing a lil bit
"cause you look good baby"
she covered her mouth a little hiding the smile that was creeping onto her face

"so how yo day been so far" i asked her pulling some hot fries out my bag
"all good except mr will— ouu lemme get some" she said stopping mid sentence
"here man" i handed the bag to her as she continued talking

we had been out there for a good minute before i decided to look at my phone checking the time
it was now 2:53 which meant the bell was about the ring to dismiss us
i looked down and saw bia with her head in my lap as she scrolled on tiktok laughing at whatever video she was watching
"i know it ain't that funny"
"but it is lemme show you" i leaned down and looked at what she was talking about but not really paying attention to anything but her smiling
most definitely my fav thing about her. i thought to myself as i felt a hit to my chest
"chill out ja'bia"
"nah you need to be watching this video miss girl" she said as she lifted her head up off me
"we needa get up outta here bell finna ring inna minute"
i began picking up my things as she did the same. we headed back to the main building and sat in the office till it was time to go
"i enjoyed that forreal" she said to me as i put my phone in my pocket
"me too. when you gon give that pass back to mr williams" i said pointing at the thing hanging roun her neck
"im keeping this ho never might know when i need it" she stated laughing as i did the same
her phone then went off
"my momma outside imma call you later okay"
"okayyy" i said getting up to hug her

"im not" she said as she walked out the office and outside the doors
i pulled out my phone and texted alayah since my dad took away my keys
i had a minor incident with a old white lady at target over a parking spot when i was clearly parked there first
anyway.
she texted me back saying she was coming so i stood there waiting for her
she eventually came to the front office and we started talking as we left out the building
"where you was ian see you in 6th"
"i was doing sum"
"with who" she asked me as she unlocked her doors letting us both in
"somebody" i answered, smiling as i put my seatbelt on as she pulled out
"well as long as they got you smiling cause ion want nobody roun you like that last one you had"
"yeah yeah" i said dismissing her putting my airpods in letting the music sink me in.
