it's been a week since i ran away from my adoptive home because i couldn't even stand to look at my ''sister'' any longer, not after what she did almost 10 years ago, now i'm wandering around in LA as i pulled out my phone and started listening to a song called ''another life'' by Motionless in White
aiden: man, that's a good song.
i said as i then noticed someone who looked like an owl asking some people, who are ignoring her, as if she's looking for something
aiden: is she...looking for something? i think i should help her.
i said as i decided to walk up to her
(Octavia POV)
octavia: (groans in frustration)
???: you looking for something, miss?
as i heard the voice, i turn around and see a blonde human teen looking at me with a calm expression on his face
Octavia: yeah, i just wanted to see the stars.
i said as i see it made him confused
???; just to clarify, by ''stars'', do you mean the celebrity kind of the ''outer space'' kind?
the human asked, making me point up as i see him smirk
???: i know a place where you can see them.
the human said, making me smile
octavia: you do?
i asked
???: yep, (pulls out his phone) just follow me.
he said as he grabbed my hand, making me blush
(aiden POV, a few hours later)
loona: try to cut your dad some slack. (blows cigarrete) i mean, he may not always get it right, but he's trying and that's more important than you think.
she said, making me and octavia touched by her words, but also made me sad since i grew up without a dad until we saw the smog moving and revealing the moon
loona: you ready to go?
she asked as octavia gave her the grimoire
octavia: yeah.
she said as she then hugged loona, who was suprised by the hug and then looked at me
loona: shouldn't you get back to your parents?
she asked, making me lower my head in sorrow
aiden: i don't have any parents.
i said, making loona & octavia shocked at what i just said
octavia: what do you mean?
she asked as i looked at her
aiden: i'll tell you after we get you back to your dad, ok?
i said as loona looked at octavia, who nodded as we leave the observatory as the screen went dark
