"Where'd you learn that?" Johnny turned around to Ponyboy after his poem read
You looked back at Pony as well awaiting a answer
"Thats what i meant.." Johnny said
"Robert Frost wrote it.." Ponyboy said looking at you
"I always remembered it 'cause i never quite knew what he meant by it" Pony said smiling at you
"Hm.." Johnny hummed out catching Ponys attention, Johnny quickly looked away from Pony, hoping Pony didn't catch his glare
Johnny, Pony and I looked around at the color's of the sky
"I've never really noticed colors and clouds and stuff..until you two kept reminding me about 'em" Johnny said looking at you both
"Its kinda like they were never there before"
"Yeah.." Pony said looking back at you
You only felt his eyes burning into your back as you over analyze the poem Pony had said
'Damn...' you thought to yourself covering your face with your hands and thinking about it, already forgetting the words
'Nothing gold can stay' is all you really remember
"Just you (m/n) and Sodapop" you hear pony say feeling his gaze leave you
You looked at Pony
"Tell me more poems" you said walking towards Pony
"I can't really remember any other ones off the top of my head like this one.." Pony said getting slightly flustered as you stopped walking as soon as you were standing right in front of him
"But i can try.." Pony said as red dusted his smiling face
You smiled at him and leaned in
He got even more red and opened his mouth to say something but you speak up first
"I'll kiss you for 5 poems.." you said still smiling at him
Ponyboy's smile widens
You see ponyboy's eye's flicker towards where Johnny is standing
You lean back turning towards Johnny, you only caught his eyes for a millisecond as he quickly looked at the sun rise
You walked towards Johnny patting his head and walking back to the church
You heard the both of them following in tow and Johnnys whispering
You assumed he was asking about what you both had talked about
You three would continue your everyday routine, near the end of Gone With The Wind
You closed the book and lied on your back as you hear the two playing cards
You felt yourself fall asleep
You heard walking around
"Woah (m/n) lets not lie in the way now man." You hear Johnny you sigh and open you eyes looking at Johnny who is standing over you
"Carry me if it bothers you this much" you said tired
You closed your eyes hoping he wouldn't even try to carry you
Gosh you jinxed yourself
"Woah Johnny! What're you doing!?" You said looking around eyes wide open
"Carrying you, like you said!" Johnny said in retort "you're light so its ok" he said
"It bothered you that much?" You said flicking him on the cheek
