{ P R O L O G U E } ( Part 2 )

in the afternoon the tower was still standing rebuild and was looking silver and new instead of old and rusty but in the ground there were 2 kids playing on the field of flowers, one was hiding behind trees and the other seeking for the other sibling

"Cuphead! come on out and give up! I'm gonna find you somehow and when i do i'll become the hide and seek champion!" the brother said in confidence

"Ha! not a chance mugman! i'm gonna be the champion of hide and seek there's no way you'll find me!" Cuphead said as he climed up a tree and in the leave's so he won't be spotted.

but as mugman keeps looking cuphead keeps peeking and was laughing quietly, "he could never find him here" he thought to himself but as he look to the left he sees the big wall from the other side, he remembers one of the tower maids told him to never go over the walls for there is a project that the other workers are working on but cuphead wondered...

"Maybe...just one peek it wouldn't hurt right, i bet they're making some strange creatures! oh! or maybe a party! that could be fun!" Cuphead said in excitement as he climed down the trees and to the bushes, then peeks to see if mugman is far and as he peeked he makes a run for it and to the the big wall, the wall was grey and metal and it has a sign that says "New Tower And Class In Progress" it could be impossible to clime but with some tools and some rope it can be possible for could be possible for cuphead.

Then as cuphead is about to get some equipment without being seen a ball bounced up and over the wall and hit cuphead on the head.

"OW!" cuphead shouted rubbing his head as he turned around and see the ball that hit him

"Ok! who's the wise guy that hit me over there! come on out i know your in there!" cuphead shouted at the wall then he heard a voice over the wall a small little girl voice.

"I'm so sorry! i really didn't mean to i- wait a minute...there's more participants over there?" the girl said to cuphead.

"Huh? yeah there's more of us but i should say the same to you! i thought there were only gonna be us? that's what our maids and butlers said even the teachers said that" Cuphead said in confusion

"Well maybe they wanted to keep it a surprise twice the class means twice the fun right?"

"Eh whatever you say is fine by me, OH! by the way i'm cuphead! i'm from class CR-1 I'm the gonna be the ultimate gunner someday! what's your name?" Cuphead asked the girl

The girl giggled and started to laugh a bit "Hey what's so funny?" cuphead said in a bit of anger

"I'm sorry but cuphead is a weird name but fairly creative, again my apologizes"

"Oh yeah? well let me hear your name i bet it's weird as mines" Cuphead said to the girl

"It is not!" ahem "My Name Is Kami, Kami Yabusame I'm From class D-4 and i'm gonna be the ultimate florist someday when i'm older"

Kami said in confidents

"Ultimate Florist? sounds boring" Cuphead Said to Kami

"Well Ultimate Gunner Sounds Dangerous to me why is it your talent?" Kami Asked

"What? Ultimate Gunner sounds awesome and brave! and plus you get to fight off bad guys!" Cuphead Said in excitement

"well i think being a florist is a safe step instead of gunner i think it's calming and realxing and seeing flowers grow and butterflies fly is the best thing" Kami Said with stars in her eyes

"Like I said sounds boring" Cuphead said crossing his arms

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Is Not!"

"Is too!"

they both said the same thing as they argue then cuphead has a cleaver idea for kami

"Fine then, if you wanna prove gardening isn't boring then i got a challenge for you" Cuphead said with a smirk

"And that is?" Kami Said In response

"The challenge is you clime wall to wall to wall to prove that gardening is better then gunner"

"What!" Kami Shouted "That's crazy and stupid! i'm sorry but if i do that i could get in trouble with the teachers the maid the butlers or even the headmaster! if they all find out-"

"Are You chicken then?"

"...excuse me?"

Cuphead then makes some chicken noises to get kami mad or angry

"Hey! i am not chicken and there's no way i won't do something as crazy as this challange" Kami Said Upsettingly

"Then i guess i'll tell my class your a chicken and gardening is boring OR! You can prove the challenge to me and make me do something boring and lame...so what will it be huh"

there was no response for a minute and then as cuphead grabbed the ball from the ground and was about to leave until he heard something turned around and sees a rope.

"Huh?" Cuphead looked at the rope and as he looked up and sees...Kami.

Kami has bright pink and white hair with a small pony tail and she has a hair tie with a leaf shape on it, she has grey eyes and pale skin and she has her white uniform with her long skirt like any kid she also have a butterfly pin on her hair, as she got down on the ground as she looked up at cuphead and with a surprising look on her face she sees cuphead for the first time and is a little shocked and so was cuphead they were the same height but look different from each other.

"Huh...now i see the name makes sense now...heh sorry about that" Kami said scratching the back of her head

"Yea, same as well, also quick question? where did you get the rope?" Cuphead Asked

"Oh! me and my class and i were gonna make a tire swing with the tree we got but don't worry i'll bring it back once i'm done with my quote on quote challenge" Kami said while grabbing the rope.

"Oh i see, well get to it then-" Then he get interrupted

"Not so fast cuphead, if I'm doing this challenge I'm not doing it alone so that means your coming with me"

"Oh yeah? says who?"

"Says me and if i get in trouble i'm dragging you with me" Kami said crossing her arms and to look at cuphead "so what will it be?"

Cuphead looked at kami sweating then he groans and said "Fine but just so you know we're keeping this a secret besides my brother probably gave up finding me by now"

"you have a brother? and how did he not find you by now?" kami asked

"maybe it's because i'm the best hider ever plus if he did find me you have to lay low and hide i don't wanna get in trouble"

"don't you mean 'we?' and fine...if it helps" kami said still crossing her arms and giving cuphead a one eyebrow raise

So cuphead and kami sneak past mugman hiding bush to bush to tree until finally to the other wall where it has the same sign and color and metal

"Still not backing down just so ya know" Kami said as she throw the rope up and tied it on the branch

"Ready?" she said looking at cuphead


"Y-yeup!" Cuphead said giving kami a nervous thumbs up

"well...here goes nothin..."
