Flashback

Young Y/N Pov

Y/n is 10 and
Joey is 6

Sitting on the top branch of the tree over looking village I hear a cry of a young boy

Climing down I see a young boy hanging upside down by his foot panicking to get him self free

Walking slowly towards him a twig snaps under me making my head snap up the the little boy

Panicking more he stats to shake and try and release himself faster with no luck

"Hey hey it's ok I'm not going to hurt you" I say in the calmest voice I can muster

He starts to calm down a bit staring at me

"What's your names kid? " I ask trying to distract him from the knife in my hand

"Joey" he wimpers out "hi Joey I'm y/n it's nice to meet you" I say friendly reaching him

"I'm going to cut the rope now ok? " I say holding his legs

He responds with a nod

Cutting the rope he fulls in to my arms

He scurried to the nearest tree holding his knees to his chest

"It's ok do you know how you got traped? " I say putting the knife in my back pocket

"Me and my friend where playing hide and seek and I didn't see the trap" he says

"Ok do you know where your friend is no-" I was cut of by a battle cry

"AAAAAAAAAAAA" I turn just in time to grab the stick the other young boy was holding "Hey don't touch my friend" the young boy hollered

"I'm not I was just helping him right Joey? " I say turning back the boy

"Yea it's true kai she was helping me" Joey says

"Oh" is all boy the who's name I know now as kai

"What are you too doing out here any way? " I ask now sitting in front of the to lads

" we where exploring" is all they say
"Well how about we get you both home? "
The two nod and I stand up offering my hand to both of them and they take them walking with me towards the village
