the class looked at her.
"okay, go ahead and introduce yourself." the teacher spoke.
"this is awkward as hell." cherry said, nervously.
the class laughed, assuming it was some sort of joke.
"my name is cherry. that's literally all i have to say." she continued.
it's really easy to make people laugh and wanna be your friend when you're hot and say nothing.
"okay.. there's an open spot next to junior-" the teacher began.
"she can sit next to me." a boy in the back offered.
"no thanks." cherry cut both of them off.
she walked over, and took a seat next to jake.
for the first half of class, she wasn't paying attention. instead, she was talking to every single person in the class.
obviously they were going to be interested in her, because she was new.
but god, none of them could shut up.
"e.b white said that explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog; you understand it better, but unfortunately, the frog dies in the process." the teacher said, walking up to a lab station.
