Once we got back to Brady's house we all hung out a bit, got changed into pajamas, and started playing games, which is what I am doing right now. Currently we are playing cards against humanity.
"I'm sorry I couldn't finish my homework because of _______." Maddy read outloud. we all put our cards facedown and Maddy mixed them up and read them out loud "doing the right thing" "self loathing" "laying an egg" "dying" "foreskin" "sniffing glue" "Wow okay, imma go with self loathing" Maddy says holding up the card
"Woo!" Brady peeps up
"I think we know whose card it is" Becca says leaning over to me. I giggle and tune back into the game
"How could you not say dying?! That is literally the best excuse ever!" Tristan yells. This is like the 5th time somebody got upset and loud whenever their card didn't get picked. Also every time someone got loud I could feel Mason look over at me, kind of like checking on me to see if I was okay
"Okay Tristan calm down" I try to tell him
"I am calm!" He yells back at me
"No, you're really not. You also don't need to yell at her like that." Mason says from the other side of me. It gets quiet after that, I can feel Mason and Tristan glaring at each other
"Hey, I think that this isn't a good game to play anymore, and maybe we should do something else. Maybe watch a movie or something?" I ask looking around the table, Tristan and Mason stop glaring at each other and everyone nods their head. We all walk to the living room and find seats on the couch Maddy sits to my left, Mason on my right, and Becca between my legs on the floor. We start the movie around 10:30, it's some action movie the guys wanted to watch, around 11:15 Maddy fell asleep on my shoulder and Becca fell asleep soon after. Believe it or not all the guys were still awake and entranced in the movie, I was trying to figure out what was happening the whole time. Around midnight the movie finished.
"We should watch the sequel" Miguel suggested
"Yeah, I heard it's even better than the first one" Brady responded. Mason looked down at me and I had a confused look on my face, he leaned over and asked me
"What wrong?"
"I'm so confused about what just happened in the movie" I tell him. Mason then goes on to explain the whole movie to me within 5 minutes "Ohhhh, dude this movie could've been 30 minutes long and so less confusing" I tell him
"Well yeah but then it wouldn't be a movie now would it" He asks sarcastically
"That's what I'm saying" I say throwing my arms up a little, making sure I don't hit Maddy when I lower them
"Hey, what are you two girls gossiping about?" Miguel asks
"First of all, girls don't only gossip. And secondly, Mason was explaining this movie to me because I didn't understand any part of it. Thank you very much." I sass
"How did you not understand the movie?" Tristan asks
"How did you understand it?" I counter
"Whatever, it's fine. We're gonna watch the sequel" Brady said calming Tristan and finding the movie
"Imma try and get Becca and Maddy to bed. Which room can I put them in?" I ask Brady
"Oh yeah, you can put them in that back spare bedroom. You know, the one that you three run off to." He tells me laughing at the end
"Wow, thanks" I start to lightly shake Becca and Maddy awake "Come on Becs, Mads, let's go to bed" They both stand up and start heading to the back room
"What are the guys doing?" Maddy asks
"Uhh, they are watching the sequel to the movie they were watching when you two fell asleep" I inform her
"Oh. How was the movie?" She asks
"If I could have understood it, I would tell you"
"Oh so not good?" She clarifies, I nod in response. There was a king bed and a twin bed in the room. Becca was currently passed out in the twin. Maddy tucked herself into part of the king, I got in the other side "Goodnight Cass"
"Goodnight Mads" I respond
"Night Becca" We say even though we know she's already asleep
-----Time Jump 2:26-----
I woke up next to Maddy, I remember that I slept at Brady's tonight. I try to go back to sleep to no avail. I get up and walk to the kitchen to get some water. As I put my glass in the sink I hear the door open
"Cassie?" I hear, I quickly turn around and see Mason in the doorway "What are you doing in here?" He asks
"Well good morning to you too sir" I say sarcastically
"That doesn't answer my question" He says walking over and leaning against the counter
"I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so I came in here to get something to drink. What are you doing in here?" I repeat his question
"I couldn't sleep either then I heard someone in here so I came to see who it was." He explained
Well good night Mase. See ya in the morning" I tell him and walk out. I'm almost out the door when he calls me back
"Hey Cass," I turn around "You know earlier when we were talking in the hotel lobby about what everyone thinks about us?" He asks. I walk back over ot the counter and take a seat on it
"Yeah why?"
"What if they were right?" He asks
"What?" I question (obviously not getting the hint)
"I mean, what if we prove them right. What if there was something happening between us?" He asks
"Is this your way of asking me out?" I smirk. He walks over in between my legs and puts his hands on my knees
"What would you say if it was?"
"Ask and find out" I tell him
"Caslyn Mills, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks nervously
"Of course Mason Thames" I tell him. Smiles growing on both of our faces
"Really?" He asks in disbelief
"Really" I confirm. He doesn't waste a second and wraps his arms around me, nuzzling his head into my neck. I immediately wrap my arms around him. We stay there for a minute before he pulls away
"Thank you so much Cassie." He says. I let out a small yawn. He smiles at me before speaking again "Now I think it's time for you to get back to bed. Night Cass"
"Night Mase" I respond. I hop off the counter and head back to the guest bedroom. Easily I fall back to sleep and don't wake till morning
