Harry POV:

Nico, they figured out, seemed like a pretty cool guy. Apart from most of the girls, (and some of the guys), simping for him 24/7, he seemed normal.

Or that was what they first thought.

It was Herbology, that they first got signs. Professor Sprout had given them the task of replanting a Mandrake. Everything seemed to be going well, until Nico pulled the thing out of the dirt. It didn't scream, instead turning a darker and darker black, until it died. Nico looked down at the plant with annoyance, before looking up at the Professor apologetically.

She sighed, and told him he was excused from Herbology for the rest of the year.

The next thing was when they were in History of Magic. Here is what happened:

The three of us saw Nico walk in with his brother. He smiled when we waved, but then turned to scold Draco for some reason. I turned to Hermione. "Why do you think the plant died?" I ask. She shrugs, and we watch Nico smack Draco on the top of the head. Poor Draco..

"He's suspicious." Ron whispered next to me.

"He is our friend, and spreading rumors does no good." Hermione scolded.

The two brothers had sat down, and the teacher walked in. I saw Nico blink and glare at him, Draco looking between the two. The teacher doesn't take notice of the new kid. But half way through the lesson, Nico catches his eyes. I swear I see a huge amount of fear in them, but the next thing I know, the teacher has continued his job.

On our way to our next class, I asked the other two. "Did either of you see Professor Binns when he saw Nico?" I ask. "He looked terrified."

"I thought I was the only one who noticed!" Ron almost yelled. "He is even more shady now."

Hermione sighed and facepalmed. "For the last time. He is our friend." She says, annoyed. "I do not care if he is Malfoy's brother, he tamed the weasel anyway." She ended, remembering the train. Me and Ron exchange a look. We were going to find what was up with Nico.

Of course, that night we used my invisible cloak.

And it was even more suspicious when, as we had entered the dungeons to find him, we saw Nico leave the dorms in the middle of the night. We immediately followed him. The mysterious boy stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked closely to the walls. Every time a ghost was near him, they gave him frightened looks and quickly flew away.

When he was in the astrology tower, he pulled out a weird coin and a spray bottle. He sprays the mist into the air and throws the coin into it. Somehow, the coin is consumed by the mist. "O Iris, goddess of rainbow, please accept my offering." He whispers. "Will Solace, Camp Half-Blood."

The mist got shimmery, and suddenly there was a boy with blonde hair in the picture. "Will." Nico says. The boy, Will, immediately turns at the sound of his voice.

"Neeks!" Will exclaimed happily. "How are you? How is the school?"

"The school is fine, it's the people I do not like." Nico says. "But I found out what the prophecy meant." Will grins. Me and Ron exchange looks. What prophecy?

"Well don't get injured, doctors orders." Will says sternly. "Plus, um.. You-know-who wouldn't want you injured as well. It looks like he is warming up to you." Me and Ron stare at them.

"Please, my father doesn't care if I get injured or not." Nico responds. Me and Ron's mouth opens in shock. Nico is Voldemort's son!?

Will shrugs with a smile. "You never know!" He smiles lovingly at Nico. Then he looks away from the misty video. "Oh. I gotta go. IM me tomorrow?" Nico nods. "Just do the job your father told you to do, and come back. Love you Neeks." He finishes with a cheeky smile. Nico blushes and cuts his hand through the mist, dissipating it.

He looks around, and starts walking back. We follow him all the way to the dungeon, where he knocked on the door in a pattern. Draco opens the door with a yawn, his hair a little messed up. "Hey Nico." He yawns. "It's too late for you to sneak out." Nico shrugs and enters the common room.

Me and Ron walk back up to the Griffindoor common room silently. The second I take the cloak off, Ron goes to get Hermione. She comes out rubbing her eyes. "What?" She snaps.

She stays silent as we tell her what happened. She sighs and rubs her face. "This is bad."

"No kidding." Ron says. "Nico is the son of the Dark Lord, and he was probably sent here to kill Harry!"

"I was hoping you guys were jumping to conclusions.." Hermione muttered. "We have to keep tabs on him now." We nod and create a plan, before going to bed.

Nico came up to them the next day, Draco trailing closely behind him. "Hey." He says. Ron scoffs and turns away, much to Nico's confusion. "I was wondering if you guys knew what the next class was."

"What happened to your schedule?" I ask. Nico looks embarrassed.

"Um, I lost it. Yeah." He says not convincingly. Hermione takes out her wand.

"Accio." She says. A piece of paper flies out of Nico's pocket and into her hand. "Here." She says, handing it to him. Draco next to him tries to cover his laughter with a cough.

"What is it, Malfoy?" Ron ask rudely. Draco shakes his head and smiles.

"Nothing, nothing." He says, looking at Nico, who was unfolding his paper. "What does it say, Nico?" He teases. The boy in question scowls at Draco and looks down at his paper.

"Um.. Po- poff, no.. pow?" Nico struggles. We look at him. "Poffing. Potting? Um.."

(I'm sorry if this is wrong, or offends anyone. Sorry)

"You can't read?!" Hermione exclaims. Nico turns a dark shade of red. "How can you not read?" Nico looks down at the ground.

"Um.. I am dyslexic." He mutters. "It makes it hard for me to read. Plus, English is my second language. So it's even worse." Hermione gasps, and Draco looks down at the schedule.

"That's Potions. You were close." He says encouragingly. Nico sighs and shakes his head. "It's over here, come on." Draco then pulls Nico in the direction of the class. We stay there for a bit before we realize that we have to go to the class as well.

When we entered this room, the two were already sitting and talking. We got to our seats, right behind them, a perfect vantage point. We could watch Nico while class happened. Professor Snape walked in with his signature frown. He eyed Nico but didn't say anything. He put the directions on the board, and simply said; 'figure it out.'

Of course, Draco helped his brother with the potions. We finished our potion before them, so we could watch if anything happened. Nothing happened when they were making the potion, but after they had shown the thing to Snape, Nico seemed to be arguing with Draco about something. Thankfully, because of how close we were, we could hear.

"Draco, someone was up there." Nico whispers. The three of us stiffen.

"You're being paranoid." Draco replies, though I swear he glances back at me. "No one was up there, or you would've seen them. It's not like they can be invisible. Like you." I almost laughed at the irony. But Ron nudges me and I get the message. Nico can be invisible? How?

"I don't know.. It just feels wrong." Nico whispers worriedly. "And if anyone finds out.."

"Don't worry, no one will find out." Draco says reassuringly. "They would have to be insanely smart, like the mud-blood." Nico smacks him on the head. "I mean the Granger girl, stop hitting me."

"Did Draco just.. call me smart?" Hermione whispers. "The world is ending."

"Fratelli per sempre?" Draco whispers with a grin, holding his pinkie next to Nico's.

"Fratelli per sempre." Nico whispers back, doing the pinkie promise thing.

"Are they speaking Italian?" Hermione says. "What in the world."
