Aleksi hums to the blood circulating in his body. Eva's blood. His body. Her being inside of him. Only a matter of time until he can manage to get down the street and to her. Inside his room, he is smiling—genuinely smiling when he can feel and taste her inside him.

He wants more.

Through the blazing sun, Aleksi burns himself when he tries to peer out of the blackout curtain. He hisses at the sharp pain but watches his fingers slowly heal back to white flesh. Hearing the slam of a car door, he realizes that Will has packed and drove off angrily.

Aleksi doesn't know why but doesn't really care. He just hopes Eva is inside the house completely safe. Anxiously, he waits until the sun sets to feel like the liveliest dead vampire ever.

He thinks of Eva and how her blood tasted. How her salty, sweaty skin tingled his tongue before going for the bite. The way he was able to hold her body when she whimpered into his ear. Or when Nikolay licked the rest that escaped his parted mouth.

Aleksi shifts and groans.

He wonders, can the sun set any slower?

Eva finishes a few boxes she'd like to ship back to America. Taping them closed, she sits on the floor and sighs. She is still angry at Will and the way he reacted towards her. However, being alone and having him off her back is bringing sweet sensation.

She rubs her head as she thinks of last night. Aleksi being a vampire and holding her as he dares to not hurt her. Nikolay promising her that she will be okay and she trusts him. She shivers when she feels Aleksi drinking from her.

It was an odd and unusual sensation. She has never felt anything like it before but it was...comforting. She wonders if maybe vampires are able to calm their prey to enjoy their blood. Eventually, Eva shivers when she feels Aleksi's warm mouth on her neck. Or how Nikolay licked the rest from her breasts up to her collarbone.

Eva goes into the bathroom and pulls the bandage off her neck. Groaning, she feels how stiff it is. There are two puncture holes that are as small as a thumbtack. She smiles at her reflection, realizing how beautiful and godlike Aleksi looked with his sharp canine teeth. It's unbelievable to think that these creatures exist. As well as werewolves. She strips and takes a shower to clean the damage that's been done.

When it is completely dark, Aleksi wastes no time racing out of the castle and towards Eva. Arriving at the door, he realizes that it's locked and the kitchen is dark. Raising a brow, he walks out of the garden and around the side of the house.

He hears rustling and one heartbeat. There is a slight noise of music playing from a phone and he assumes it's Eva's. There is a window open to let the slight breeze inside. Eva is sitting on the floor of the bedroom looking through photo albums.

Aleksi tries to be as quiet as possible but it doesn't help when a stray cat meows at his feet. Eva gasps and glances at the window. Sheepishly, Aleksi comes into view and Eva scurries to her feet.

Without bothering to go back to the front door, Aleksi opens the panels wider and climbs through the window.

"What are you doing here?" Eva asks him, holding a photo between her fingers.

Aleksi is memorized by the way she is looking already. She's in a white tank top and pajamas shorts but that's all she can wear for him to lose it. Her hair is in a lose braid and the bite mark on her neck is exposed.

"I wanted to see you." He tells her with a duh look. Her shoulders drop and she rolls her eyes.

"Through the window?" She almost laughs.
