A famous author who's notorious for killing off their characters wakes up as the main character in one of their books. No one has plot armor, no one is safe. The author has to use their knowledge of their book to survive the plot points they wrote.
So basically, the author's book is constantly trying to kill them off, even though they are now the main character. I thought it was a fun idea.
