Backstory: She was born into an Indian family that lived in Yellow Springs, Ohio. They ended up moving to Hawkins after her Dad got a job there when Ray was only 4. Hawkins was a good place for them. Not only did her Dad have a good job there, but they also had family there. Her aunt had lived there her whole life.
Disclaimer: The age gap between El and Ray is 8 years. The age gap between 001/Henry/Vecna and Ray is 16 years. So if we're talking about season four, Vecna is 39, Nancy is 18 (more on that later), and Ray is 23. Also, I wrote this a while ago, but I was rereading it and decided to give it a try.
