Not to be trusted
Ice cold bitch, Queen of the Damned
Mistress of the Dark
You question -
" Why can't I stay in line like others can?"
Wanting the Truth you say
I willingly give it, I cannot lie
Accusations and denial from your mouth
Blindsided by name calling and cussing
Shock jolts me
I gave you what you wanted
A light bulb clicks
And it all makes sense
You say you value Truth
Though proven you can't handle it
Just wanting words of praise
To get your ego stroked instead
Manic laughter flows from my lips
An almost evil, demented tone
Your scared eyes seared in my mind
You say I'm a Nightmare,
a hellish dream
Mistress of the Dark,
a shapeshifting witch
Damn right I am
When most make enemies with it, I befriend it
The Shadows reveal the Truth
Even when facts lie
So you say I'm a Nightmare
And I say you're just blind
