In the name of love

The villain stood before the hero, the sharp blade of the sword pointing at her heart.His face was stone cold as he asked," Any last words,doll?", she met his eyes; his eyes filled with something she had yet not been able to figure out. "I love you", she said just above a whisper. The sting of the blade being pushed harder against her chest. It made her winced ." I wish I could say the same", he admitted as the sword pierced her heart. Light quickly left her sapphire eyes as tears spilled from them. He looked away, not being able to see  life leaving her body. He knew well that he lied. He loved her with every fiber of his being, and his love only grew every time his heart beat, every time he breathed. But after everything, he knew he wasn't worth the woman he loved.
Villains and heroes are meant to be rivals and enemies. Nothing more, nothing less. And after all, nobody could be worthy of a soul that outshined the sun .
