Chapter 43
Sept. 16
The next morning, Ash and Harry were cuddled in his bed after another love making session after they had breakfast.
"Baby, please let me come with you and Edward?" Harry asked his bride-to-be. "I know that you're going to need some support. Why not me?"
Ash sighs, "I know love, but I don't want to cause issues with any paparazzi, and I have to make sure that the business deal is done for the theater agreement."
"I don't want you to go alone. I'm sure grams can send more royal security. I'll bring mine with us."
"I have the town police guarding me; I'll be okay."
"Do you not remember the first day we got there?"
Ash moans, "Harry, I do remember, but I have to get stuff done there."
With Ash's new lawyers, they helped her get legal stuff done, as her being the co-owner of the theater; she could sell her portion to her Drama teacher Mrs. Smith. Since the hearing for her parents was coming up in just a few days now, thanks to the lawyers pushing it, she did have to go back to Ashland to be part of it since she was suing her parents. Even her ex-boyfriend Alex agreed to come and give his side of the story. Luckily, the lawyers just had Harry, Will, Kate, and Leigh state their side of the story on paper documents since it would be safer for them. Sean was under age, and they had him also write down his side of the story since he would be still going to school at Eton anyways.
"But I'll miss you," he pouts.
She sighs, "Fine... we'll check with Edward to see if it's okay if you can come. But remember I need to finish my business deal for the theater."
"Yes," he cheered and kissed her all over her face.
"Okay," she laughs softly.

Harry, Ash, and Edward left that morning in his private jet, along with Harry's security. Mitchel said that he and his officers would protect Ash as much as they could once they arrived and while at the hotel. Mitchel told the hotel to give them the top floor, no one else. Meaning everyone for this hearing and safety would stay there. Even for Alex when he and his lawyers come for the court hearing. It was the best that Mitchel could do for her until it was time for her to leave.

That Thursday, they had picked a jury in a few hours, luckily as Ash, the judge, and all the lawyers agreed, they had to be non-related to the family, not living in Ashland, or not following or caring about the news of what happened.
Surprisingly, the crew from the theater came to support Ash, a few did agree that it wasn't right for her parents, and were there to support them. Surprisingly, most of the town was there to see Ashlyn and Harry, or be there to support the theater.
The trial went into action the next day. Everyone was in a very packed courtroom as the judge walked in after everyone rose and he sits down as he tells the room to sit down.
"I want to make this very clear before we start," he said looking at everyone. "We are here for a court trial. If you are here just to see the future Princess of..." he looks at her, "title?"
"She'll be a Duchess your honor, but won't get the title until the day of the wedding from her majesty the queen herself," Ash's lawyer said.
"Very well, Miss Wilson..." he nods toward her and Harry as they nod back since he was being respectful. "I will not have people in my courtroom just to stare at her, along with Prince Harry. Leave if that is why you are here. This is a courtroom, not a press conference."
