I wake up and choke. Water fills my lungs. I look up and water has covered my body. I shake and try to pull myself up but nothing works. Has the water already risen this much? I feel my restraints get cut suddenly. I fall down and resurface gasping for air.
When I resurface I get dragged out of the water. It's Jake. I lay on the ground and cough up water. "Are you ok?" He asks slightly. I nod and he helps me stand up. I almost fall but Jake catches me. "Ok, ok. We have to go. Stay behind me." Jake says. Tuk stays close behind me as well. I hold her hand.
Then we see Quaritch walk out. With Kiri, a knife against her throat. "Kiri!" I shout. I take a step towards her, Tuk right next to me. Jake holds his arm out. When I see it I understand. Jake looks down at me. I nod slightly and walk back to my former spot. Keeping Tuk with me.
"Put down your weapons." Quaritch says. Jake hisses and steps closer. "Do not test me!" Quaritch says, lightly cutting Kiri's neck with the blade. Red liquid starts to drip from her neck. "Dad, just kill him." Kiri says under the knife. Jake steps back and throws down his weapons. "No.." Kiri says. "Now kick them." Quaritch commands.
Jake does as he's told. Quatrich throws cuffs at Jake, "Now cuff yourself."
"Son of a bitch." Jake says while he begins to cuff himself. "Don't hurt her!" I hear a voice say. I look to the source and see a Sky Person. I back up and hold Tuk closer. Who is this boy? I then see Neytiri in the corner creeping her way up towards the boy.
She grabs the boy and holds a knife against his throat as well. "Let her go, or I cut." Neytiri hisses. "Mom, please don't hurt him." Kiri says. Neytiri cuts across the boy's chest. A very light cut. "A son for a son." Neytiri hisses. "Ok, ok. Just don't hurt her." The boy says. "Mom, please don't kill him..." Kiri pleads.
"I don't care. He's not mine, I mean we aren't even the same race." Quaritch says. Neytiri raises the knife and screams. "Stop! Ok, ok." Quaritch says as he drops Kiri. She falls to the ground and I run over to help her up.
"Just let him go.." Quaritch says. With that Neytiri tosses the boy to the side. Jake then uses himself as a shield for all of us to walk to Neytiri. Tuk quickly runs and hugs Neytiri. Neytiri growls from anger. "Mom, please." Tuk pleads. Everyone starts to back up into the water.
"Oh, you're not going Jake, are you?" Quatrich says in a fighting stance. "Jake." Neytiri hisses. "I will find you and I will kill your entire family!" Quatrich hisses. "Then let's get it done." Jake says while charging at Quaritch. "Mom.." Kiri urges Neytiri to leave.
As we wade in the water, fire starts to spread. "It's coming." I mumble. "Go, go. Back to the ship." The human boy instructs. We all start swimming back to the boat. Tuk was holding onto Neytiri. Kiri and the boy took the lead while I stayed in the back.
As we are walking the water is getting sucked into some hole. Tuk gets pulled in. I grab her arm and try to help Neytiri pull up Tuk. We aren't strong enough and Tuk gets pulled in. "No!" Neytiri says while diving into the hole. "Mom!" Kiri yells while holding her hand out. I look at Kiri, "She can't be alone down there, she doesn't know how to breathe." I say before diving in.

I get pushed around in the water. Eventually getting thrown out of some door. "Tatu." Neytiri says as she helps me up. "We have to go." I grab Neytiri's hand and lead her. "Tuk come here!" Neytiri yells while grabbing her hand. We ran through the boat.
Neytiri and I tug at doors to open them. "It's never ending!" I frustratingly shout. The water keeps rising. We all slip a lot while running, but we all help each other up.
We get to the point where we start to crawl on tables to escape. Then the ceiling starts to turn on us. "Come on." Neytiri says while putting her hands on Tuk and I's lower back. We start crawling in boxes that work as ladders. "The ship's turning!" I say while climbing. We get to the top and I elbow open the door. Neytiri helps and we open the door. I help Tuk up and then Neytiri.
I jump up and we start to swim. "There's no way out!" Tuk cries. "Just stay calm..." I mumble as Neytiri and I try to open a door. We don't have the strength as the water fights against us. The door slams shut.
There was nowhere for us to go. Neytiri, Tuk, and I wade in the water. "The air pocket is here. We just need to breathe." I say through a shaking voice.
"Oh, great mother... please help us." Neytiri prays.
"Mom... I'm scared." Tuk says while her voice breaks. "It's ok, just stay close to me." Neytiri says while grabbing Tuk. As she says this the lights start to shut off. I move closer to Neytiri and Tuk. I wish I could just cling to Neytiri and cry. I've never felt more like a child than before.
I tried to keep my tears silent as we wade through the water. The adrenaline in my body started to wear off from lack of action. I struggled to keep my head up. I can't keep myself up with my bad shoulder, bleeding head, and achy back. "Neytiri." I say through coughs of water. "Tatu!" She says quickly. "M-my shoulder." I say while barley bobbing out of the water.
"What is it?" Neytiri was very panicked. I grab onto Neytiri's shoulder and lean on her. Neytiri touches my back and must feel the blood since her hand quickly pulls away. "I can't swim." I say through whimpers. "It's ok, it's ok. Just stay here. Stay right here." Neytiri says while pushing hard on my shoulder. "Tuk, please help me." Tuk swims over. "Put you're hand here and press hard." Neytiri instructs.
Tuk does as she's told. I squirm and try to hold back my scream. "Shhh, shhh. You'll be ok..." Neytiri whispers. Then I see the ceiling start to light up. Little golden fish fill the water. "Kiri!" I hear Neytiri say with relief.
Kiri swims over. "My little sister." She says while giving Tuk a squeeze on the shoulder. "I am going to give this to you." Kiri says while taking the gill mantle off her back and giving it to Neytiri.
"Just follow me... Deep breaths. Everything will be ok." Kiri says in a calming voice. I take a deep breath and follow Kiri and Tuk. I grab onto Neytiri's hand and swim with her. I stay with her for multiple reasons, one I was scared I would stop swimming and drown at any moment, second she is not as fast as the others.
After a while of following the trail of golden fishes. Using the objects to push us forward. Kiri looks back at Neytiri with a smile. Then her eyes meet mine and she falters, but seconds later she continues on. Even in this situation I couldn't help but admire the beauty of everything.
