Maisie had came back after her throwing up session, and realised she was welcomed with JJ's great idea. His idea that included John B sneaking around the Cameron family, and stealing their scuba gear. Bare in mind, Ward Cameron, the dad of the family, was his rich boss.
All so they could go to the wreck.
The time did eventually come, later on that day.
Maisie had yet to tell JJ her little secret, and in all honesty, she didn't know how she was gonna admit it to him. He seemed so — tense, lately.
Of course, out of everyone, she was the latest there. Tank top and shorts layered on top of her bikini. Pregnancy brain or not, she couldn't stop thinking about how that bikini might not be able to fit her soon.
"Hey." Maisie greeted, stepping into the boat with a hand from Pope. He sent her a quick smile and continued to pull her in gently.
"What took you so long, Mais?" JJ questioned, narrowing his eyes at her, "We were worried." he spoke, and at first she thought it was a joke. In fact, she chuckled about it.
But then John B shook his head and added, "He isn't lying..." the Routledge boy shrugged. They all had serious looks on their face, and it was so obvious Maisie felt stupid for even thinking it was just a joke.
