Beth spent the next day with Santana. Puck was getting all of their things together, and when he finished, he got lunch with Jake.

Puck spent the rest of the day alone, and headed to a bar after dinner. He ordered a drink and sat down, his eyes on the TV.

"Aww, you look so sad."

Puck looked at the blonde girl beside him, recognizing her from the other night.

"What's wrong?" The girl asked.

"I'm fine." Puck insisted, sipping his drink after the bartender set it down. "I already told you I don't know your name."

"I don't care." The girl said. "I know who you are."

Puck nodded slowly. "Right."

"How long are you in New York for?"

"I'm leaving tonight."

"Then let's make it count."

-

"Where the hell have you been?" Santana asked Puck when she let him in.

"Out." Puck answered, stepping inside. "Is Beth asleep? I should get her out of here."

"Were you drinking?" Santana wondered.

"Hours ago." Puck responded.

"Why don't you wait until the morning to leave?" Santana suggested. "You can have breakfast, say bye to Quinn, and then catch the train to Lima."

"We're gonna fly there." Puck told Santana. "It's a two-hour flight."

"Another reason to take her in the morning." Santana pointed out.

"Alright, fine." Puck sighed. "But I'm not taking her to Quinn's."

"We need to talk about that." Santana said. "You completely flipped out on her."

"Yeah, well, I have a short temper." Puck shrugged.

"She needs our help, Puck." Santana insisted.

"No, she doesn't." Puck argued. "Because if she did, she'd say so. It's not like we didn't give her a ton of chances to."

"Well, maybe-"

"I'm done talking about Quinn." Puck interrupted. "Let me go to sleep so I can get out of here in the morning."

"Fine."
