"Thanks for dinner." Quinn said as she and Puck stood in the parking lot by their cars. "And for the talk."

"Anytime." Puck replied.

The pair went silent for a moment.

"Did you wanna talk about the cigarettes?" Puck offered.

"Why don't I just listen?" Quinn suggested.

"Okay." Puck began. "Well, I don't drink when Beth's around, especially when I'm the only one watching her. But every now and then I'll smoke."

Quinn nodded.

"But only outside and away from her." Puck added. "And not pot."

"Noah, you've been doing a great job raising our daughter." Quinn told him. "You don't have to defend yourself, but especially not to me."

"Quinn." Puck frowned.

"I should go." Quinn decided. "I'm kinda tired, and I wanna go back to my mom's, but this was really nice."

"Yeah." Puck agreed. "I'll talk to you soon. And if you need anything-"

"I know." Quinn nodded as she hugged Puck. "Goodnight, Noah."

"Night, Q." Puck responded, kissing Quinn's cheek when they parted.

Quinn got in her car and drove off before Puck did the same.

-

"Noah."

"Hey, Q." Puck said into the phone. "Everything okay?"

"Will you come with me to get my stuff?" Quinn requested.

"Sure." Puck replied. "When?"

"In the morning." Quinn answered. "I just wanna get it over with so I can move on."

"Yeah." Puck nodded. "Do you want me to drive?"

"My car is there, so I was thinking we could fly in and drive back together." Quinn stated.

"That works." Puck noted. "Let me know what time you wanna fly out and I'll be there."

"I'm looking at flights now, so I'll text you." Quinn promised. "And thank you. I know I keep dragging you away from Beth, but-"

"She's fine." Puck interrupted. "She's been having a lot of fun with my mom and Sarah, and we can talk to her when we get back."

"Okay." Quinn replied.

"Okay." Puck repeated. "So I'll see you in the morning then."

"See you."
