CHAPTER 22

In the morning, the plane landed at the Singapore airport. Yup, we welcomed our first year together at the airport. Parang nasa Philippines lang kami kanina, ngayon nasa Singapore na. Woah, my dream! I thought that Kiel and I would just have dinner at the restaurant and I agreed, but I was surprised when he suddenly gave me a ticket to SG, saying that we would have dinner here.

Hindi ako nakatulog kanina sa airplane dahil nakaidlip na 'ko sa airport habang hinihintay 'yung time ng flight namin. I just talk to Kiel the whole time, he's still very much alive. It's Saturday morning but we will also return to the Philippines tomorrow night or Monday midnight. 'Buti na nga lang ay sumaktong weekend ang anniversary namin kaya nakapag-out of the town kami ni Kiel.

"Oh my goodness, it's so pretty," I opened the curtain when we got to the hotel. I saw the view, wala pang araw. I can't believe that I'm here. This is really the only country I didn't want to go to before because I wanted my visit to be very memorable. And now that I'm here, I'm sure it will be memorable. "You're going to sleep?" I looked behind when I heard the CR door open, Kiel came out.

Tinignan niya ako. He shook his head. "Kapag matutulog ka na," ang dami ko pang enery tapos hihintayin niya pa ako. Binuksan niya 'yung bottle ng water at uminom siya roon kaya tumingin ulit ako sa view, the lights are beautiful. Ah, I love being here with the love of my life. Nakatutok ang phone ko sa view para magtake ng picture at ilagay 'yon sa story ko nang maramdaman ko ang kamay ni Kiel na pumulupot sa baywang ko, I put down my phone and just held his hand.

"One year na kaagad tayo. Time really flies, right?" Inusog ko ang ulo ko at tumingin sa kaniya pataas.

"Mhm," he agreed. He kissed the side of my head, making me smile even more.  "In that one year, you haven't changed anything. Sobrang ganda mo pa rin," lumawak ang ngiti ni Kiel. Hindi ko alam kung nang-aasar ba siya o hindi, umirap ako at binalik na ang tingin sa mga magagandang ilaw.

After we cuddled for a few minutes while watching the beautiful lights of Singapore, I decided to go to bed because Kiel and I will be out all day tomorrow. Of course, we will make the most of our time here in Singapore even though we have to study. I let Kiel continue his sleep when I woke up, I slowly got out of bed before entering the CR. I stretched my body because I still felt sleepy.

Nang lumabas ako, I checked my phone if full charge ba 'yon, Kiel's phone too. I have also charged our power bank so that we are ready if our phone goes out when we are out. I got some clothes before entering CR again to take a shower and get ready. I'll just wake up Kiel after I take a shower.

I wore a white crop tank top and a beige denim mini skirt, Kiel's outfit matches mine, he wears a white polo shirt and his bottom is beige. He asked me about my outfit so everything I will wear here in Singapore matches his outfit. Ugly raw kasi tignan kapag magkaiba ng kulay 'yung mga isusuot namin. I don't know where he learned that but I think Fritz just mentioned it to him.

"It's so delicious, love! Taste it, dali!" Tumingin ako kay Kiel nang matikman 'yung food ko at kinalabit siya dahil magkatabi naman kami. I took my spoon and put it in Kiel's mouth so he could taste my food. "It's delicious, isn't it?" I had a smile on my lips when I asked him that, ngayon lang ako nakatikim nang ganitong food kaya sobrang excited ko.

"It is, baby," Kiel lost his eyes when he smiled so I smiled even more, he's so super cute. I just want to keep him forever, I just want to hug him every minute, I just want to look at him every second. This man talaga! He's so clean. He looks and smells so fresh. I still can't believe he's my boyfriend, whether anyone agrees or not, I'm the luckiest of the two of us because I have him.

"Where do we go next after this— ah, nevermind. We have a list pala," I slowed down my eating so that we could stay here longer but we still had a lot to go. Kinukwento ko lang naman kasi 'yung about kay Maeve, she said she wants to come with us because it's been a long time since she went abroad but she's very busy with med school so she's not free, sayang nga.
