Subtle movements in the room were being heard but due to the darkness, it was difficult to know what exactly was going on.

Prachi opened her eyes and checked the time: it was five in the morning.
She found herself in their room and correctly guessed that she might have fallen asleep during the night.

She turned to Ranbir's side but on finding it empty, she knew he was the one walking around.
She sat up and her fingers reached the lights. In one click, the bedroom lit up and Ranbir turned to her.
Ranbir: "Did I wake you up?"
She nodded no still sleepily but her eyes went to the bag and clothes on the couch.

Prachi, confused: "Why are you packing? Are we going back to the penthouse?"
Ranbir looked at her and she could see his hesitation.

This confused her further: "What is going on?"
He approached her and sat on the edge of the bed.
Still hesitant: "Actually I have to go to Switzerland for a business deal..."
That caught her full attention and all sleepiness was outside the window.

She couldn't help the little sadness she felt but knew that he had to go.
Prachi: "Ohh... When are you going?"
Her eyes didn't meet his as she didn't want him to know her feelings.

But despite her tries, Ranbir did notice it and he sadly replied to her: "My flight is at midnight. And I have to go to office to prepare for the deal."

Prachi: "You are going for days?"
He nodded yes: "At least a week..."
Prachi: "okay... but why are you up at this time?
I will pack your stuff later on... come back to bed."

He chuckled but complied. He got into the sheets with her and Prachi immediately hugged him. She lay her head on his chest while he began drawing circles on her arm.
Prachi: "I will miss you..."
Ranbir: "Me too... but you got to promise me that you will take full care of yourself.
You will take your medicines on time and go to appointment as well."

Chuckling, she nodded yes.
Prachi: "Yes, Mr. Husband... I will and I will bring someone with me as well."
He nodded: "And call me as soon as Arjun finishes the check up."

Prachi: "Yes but what if you are in meeting?"
Ranbir: "If I don't pick up then you send me a message.
I will surely reply..."
She nodded.

Prachi: "So, Switzerland... it must be snowing there, right?"
Ranbir, chuckling: "Yeah, so please pack my warm clothes."
Prachi: "You will send me pictures... I want to see snow."
Ranbir: "I will video call you."
This made her grin and she snuggled closer to him.
Prachi: "Wake me up before you go to the office."
He kissed her forehead and both drifted to a sleep.

Later during the day:
Prachi was packing Ranbir's stuffs when Rhea came there.
Rhea: "So, he is going for a week."
Her sister nodded at her.
Rhea began helping Prachi and questioned her.
"You will miss him?"

Prachi: "Yes, a lot..."
Rhea: "One week will go in a blink of an eye. And we will keep you occupy."
Prachi smiled at her thankfully. But then her smile became brighter.

Rhea: "What are you thinking?"
Her sister grinned happily at her.

Ranbir's office:
He already covered up his pending worl and was in advance. He had carried out some meetings which could be done.

He planned everything for the week and was making his presentation. He was just checking the past bit of it and finally it was done.
All his employees were on leave for new year holiday.

He couldn't disturb them to get necessary details. So his presentation took time to finish. This was the first time that he would collaborate with someone from that country.
He needed it to be perfect.
