Michael's Point of View:
I arrived in Miami yesterday morning, and I managed to escape the detail that was on me. I lost him in a crowded hotel lobby.
The anonymous tip has led us to three locations, working in a steak restaurant, living in a condominium complex, and being spotted in a shipyard.
I know for a fact she is not working in a steak restaurant, Zenia would never have a need to do that if she is running around with Kent, her dad.
I arrived at the condo she was rumored to be living in a day after the agents investigated. I knew they would try all three locations, and the shipyard, they will try to put a tail on me, seeing as that is my next stop after this. I knew they would be there scouting for Zenia or any connection to her.
However, I have a solution for that plan, I have set up a business deal at the shipyard dock's restaurant with Maria. I have some last things to give to her before I set out on my journey to find Zenia once and for all.
I know they will leave me alone if they think they have me spotted with another woman. It's my best way to lose the detail for some time before we may run into each other again.
"Hello, Mr. Jackson, how may I help you?" The condo manager who I spoke to on the phone meets me in the main office.
"I called about unit 204, I wanted to know if a woman was staying there, name Zenia, she looked like this." I showed him a picture of Zenia that I took one night at the penthouse.
"No, I've never seen that beautiful lady before. Like I told those cops, unit 204 has an older woman staying there. By the name of Eileen Walker, she stayed here for a few days before she vanished. The unit is paid for up to a year, but she did have her hair colored to look like this girl in the picture. Maybe, that's why the cops are looking here, huh?" The condo manager says.
"Hm, maybe thanks for your time." I say, leaving him a stack before I get into my rental car. To ensure that I didn't get a tail on me, I had a disguise on and made sure not to use no cards, only cash.
Arriving at the hotel, I grabbed my things and called Maria. I knew she was still looking for her mother and sister. After Prince and I saved her from Justus and Raymond, I promised her I would help. This will be my last promise fulfilled before I go on this search for my heart.
"Mr. Jackson, there is a strange guy who gives me cop vibes, sitting in the hotel lobby." The manager that I had bankroll for this trip warns me.
"Okay, thanks for letting me know, I will wire your last payment to the bank account you gave me. Make sure to remove the money immediately after receiving it, and thanks for all your help." I say to him before I glance over at the cop he made.
It was no one else but Grant. He didn't notice me as I walked right past him. He was clearly looking for me, and I found it to be interesting that he got this close.
"I want to know if there is anyone by the name of Jackson staying at this hotel." I overhear him say as I had a bug installed by the receptionist desk. The redhead on duty the night I checked in was none the wiser.
"I'm sorry, sir, but there is no one by that name staying here." The manager says lying through his teeth.
"Sir, I am a federal agent of the law, I can subpoena you and your files. I want a list of everyone who checked in between last night and the day before." Grant says as I continue to listen. My ride arrives, and I head inside, still listening with my earpiece device.
"Okay, here is the list of check-ins." Grant says as he must have been reading the list of check-ins. The best part is I never checked in, not traditionally anyway.
