Summary: Now that Steven has arrived in gravity falls by bus, he has to figure out what to do now. (Too bad two weird kids have to take interest in him)

----------------------------------------------

Well great.

Now he was on a random bus with a very confused driver, with no money, no extra clothes, no phone, and absolutely no idea where he's going.

What did he get himself into??

I mean, atleast he had somewhere to go. Even if he didn't know where he was going- he didn't even want to bother to explain to the bus driver how he just pulled spare change out of his stomach, and why he looked like he had tumbled down a hill and sounded as if he had just witnessed a murder.

Well, I guess he kinda did. Except he was the murderer.

He cringed, shaking his head. Atleast the bus driver didn't ask any questions- he would've rather just floated to the middle of nowhere then have to explain himself.

He yelped as the bus pulled to a stop, the whining of the wheels making him wince. Butterflies erupted in his belly as he stood up, walking up the aisle.

"Uhm, thank- thankyou." He stuttered over to the bus driver, who uncomfortably nodded. He walked down the steps and onto the ground, taking note of where he was. Pine trees surrounded him, the only source of light being the moon and stars ahead of him that beamed it's glow down onto the forests, the wilderness making anxiety churn in his stomach. He nearly jumped a mile when he heard the bus door close, and he watched hopelessly as it drove away.

Atleast he was far away from his loved ones: he couldn't afford hurting them, and he was never going to go near them again.

He deserves to rot in a dark forest for what he did.

"Speak of the devil.." He muttered out, plunging his hand into his pocket and pulling out her remains.

He flinched, the shards in his palm making his heart ache.

He had killed someone... Someone who had just tried to help him.

He was going to miss Jasper alot... She was there for him when he had ran away, and now she was resting in the hand of her murderer.

"I'm so sorry." He choked out.

And now, he was alone.

But, that was the best thing for him to be. He couldn't hurt his family again- he wouldn't let himself.

He shook his head, returning his attention to the very reason why he took out her shards. He needs to bury her. He would've given her a burial in her forest, but selfishly in his rush to escape he hadn't even thought about returning back there. He stalked over to the dark woods, shivering at the creepiness of it. Atleast he knew how to protect himself.

He found a patch of moist soil, and he bit back a sob as he kneeled down in the dirt, digging his hand into the ground.

"I'm so so sorry..."

(The next morning)

"HEY DIPPER! I found a homeless guy!"

Steven's eyes blearily blinked open, his eyes focusing on a girl leaning over him, her braces filled grin wide.

"Hello!"

"AH-"

Stevens brain seemed to snap back into awareness, and he bolted up, backing away from the girl and into a tree.

"Mabel, what-" Dipper walked out from behind a thicket of bushes, holding a book of some type. His eyes landed on Steven, and he nearly dropped his book.
