"we'll be having an event this friday, it'll be about video presentations that had happened this past few months and another school near us will visit just to inspect our school so i hope everyone can help decorating around the school, also by i mean decorating we will pick atleast 10 students from each class to help around while some...can just do whatever they want" the teacher said as some students cheered when they heard the 'do whatever they want' part

y/n then looked around the classroom clearly getting bored, y/n looked at the familiar blonde across the room, he looked like he was deep in thought, a few seconds then passed by when he suddenly looked at her direction making her look away quickly

"y/n l/n" the teacher called making you look in front "you'll be helping with decorating is that ok your precious day dreaming will have to wait later on" the teacher said sarcastically as some students laughed, y/n then looked outside "chifuyu matsuno" her eyes then widened

'shit, so much for avoiding'

"can you give me that?" chifuyu said as y/n gave some of the decorations, earlier the teacher said that y'all should start early since they'll have to decorate the whole school, it sucks but atleast students are also helping around so it isn't much of a bummer other than y/n's classmates mocking her

it was also an excuse to get out of class so it isn't as bad "goddamn i hate this" y/n's classmate nijiro said as the girl beside him nodded as they continued to put up some decorations in the walls "well its better than learning math" y/n said as the girl named ayana chuckled "your right about that"

"hey there you are!" mei suddenly appeared with a boy beside her 'oh isn't that chifuyu's friend?'. "thanks again baji" mei said with a smile before hitting baji in the arm "y'know for a small girl you hit like a mull" baji said while caressing his arm as mei just glared at him

"oh right this is baji, baji this is y/n, y/n this is baji, his in my class" mei said as y/n just smiled at the boy in front of her "yeah, yeah whatever" baji then looked up to see a blonde haired boy who was smiling at him "what are you doing up there!?" baji asked as chifuyu chuckled

"im putting up decorations" chifuyu explained while pointing at the decorations he already placed, mei then smiled "we also got nominated to do the decorating, why dont we help each other out?" mei asked as y/n and chifuyu nodded "sure that'll be great

"i was planning on ditching but anyways let go decorate these walls!"

"finally were done!" baji said enthusiastically while admiring his work "lets go to lunch then" y/n said as mei smiled "oh ahmm i think ill just fix some things first before going ill catch up later" mei said with a smile as y/n did the same "how about chifuyu do you have somewhere to go to?" chifuyu then looked at y/n "oh I'll probably just help mei we'll be back later"

mei then already start walking to a certain direction "well baji! lets go to the cafeteria!" y/n  said and locked arms with him making Chifuyu look at your arms attached together "what i have to talk to chifuyu!" baji said as y/n  pulled him to the stairs "no time the line will pile up if we hangout here longer see you chifuyu!" y/n said still pulling baji with her

"what's with you"baji said while he ate some of his food "what?" y/n asked as he scoffed "dont you have a crush on chifuyu?" y/n then looked at him wide eyed "what are you talking about haha.." y/n said laughing awkwardly "stop acting like that it's to obvious anyway"

y/n then drank some of her juice while looking at baji "and how do you know that i 'like' him anyway if your so great" y/n said as baji looked at her disappointingly "its your glances it's as if everytime you look at him your eye began to soften" he said as y/n laughed "what do you mean soften?" baji then glared at her

"shut up right now"baji said as y/n stopped her laughing "ok fine but really what do you mean" y/n asked again as baji just rolled his eyes "what i mean is that you look like a child who has seen beautiful pony" y/n then laughed again "close explanation to what i expect, explain more sir" baji then glared at y/n while she just laughed more

"hey ahmm how are you guys doing?" chifuyu asked awkwardly mei beside him looking away from y/n

"were doing great!" baji said as y/n just chuckled, chifuyu was gonna sit beside y/n when she suddenly stood up and went beside baji "what are you doing?" baji asked as y/n just looked away "just wanted to sit here" y/n said as baji smirked "so my charms does work" y/n then glared at him and punched him in the arm

"shut up" y/n said as mei and chifuyu sat together, y/n then smiled at mei as she did the same, her cheeks slightly becoming pink as y/n just smirked at her while she just rolled her eyes at y/n with a smile "anyways after this we're still gonna decorate right?"

"yeah we dont have any other choice anyway some of the students have already ditched decorating" y/n said with a sigh as baji nudged her shoulder "what?" y/n asked "can you buy me a soda?" y/n then glared at him "can you also buy me one?" mei asked as y/n smiled at her "sure" y/n then stood up and left to go buy some

y/n then went to the vending machine when she suddenly heard panting "chifuyu what are you doing here?" y/n asked "i just wanted to come with you" he said as y/n just nodded "oh" a few seconds has passed and the air was filled with nothing but silence "lets go i already got the soda's"

y/n then started walking to walk away when she suddenly tripped 'shit' y/n thought as she closed her eyes waiting for the impact when a hand held your waist "be careful y/n you can be quite clumsy sometimes" chifuyu said as he let go of her

"yeah..."

" you took so long earlier before going outside the gate, do you wanna get some food? i got to tired after decorating"

y/n looked at mei as she stopped walking "is there a problem? you've been silent since earlier, are you in pain?"

"y/n do you have something to tell me?" mei asked suddenly "what do you mean?" y/n asked as mei looked at you her face looking serious "'y/n im talking about you and chifuyu..." y/n then looked at her "you like him dont you..."

"you like him as well"

"no i don-"

"y/n dont lie too me!"

tears were pricking mei's eyes "i-its true im over him now..." mei then looked at y/n disappointingly as tears began pouring out from her eyes "y/n i dont care about your feelings about him i just want you to be honest with me goddamn it, I didn't want to hear it from someone else but you just had to keep that information too yourself dont you?'

"mei i just didn't want you to have to deal with more emotions when you were already worrying about your surgery i dont want you to feel sa-" y/n was trying to explain as tears were threatening to pour "oh so you think that would've made me happier? treating my friend like shit for a guy i barely know? y/n you know me better than that"

"i didn't know what to do mei i was worried for you" mei then scoffed "oh so this is for me now? y/n im supposed to be your friend were suppose to not fight about something like that, but because of what you did were fighting over something so stupid!"

"mei i-i just thought that i couldn't say something like that too you, i know you liked him and wanted to know more about him so how could i say something like thay" tears then  started to come out of y/n's eyes as she explained while mei looked away still crying

"even though i like chifuyu, i would give him away in a heartbeat if it means that we can preserve our friendship, i care about you a lot and would do anything for you, and i know you just care about me because of my heart but i need a friend instead of another nurse" mei gripped her bag and started to walk away from you leaving y/n in a crying mess
