8 months later
October 8
Lila is now 16 and James is going to be 18 tomorrow.
Im gonna fill you in on what happened over the months I skipped. So March, nothing too exciting. April, we celebrate Jen's and Bobby's birthday. We went roller skating and hung out at Jen's place. May, we did once huge celebration for Ginny, Jared, Kathy, and I. We went bowling and had a major party with the cast and crew. June, we celebrated Katie's birthday party. We had a cast get together at the park and we ate and played a bunch of games. July, we celebrated Lana's birthday. We went to an arcade then played laser tag and a bunch of competitive games. August, nothing happened really. We went on a bunch of dates with the 8 of us and basically slept over at Kathy and Kenzie's house. Oh and we also had a pool party because Jen and Katie have a pool at their house but no used it yet. September, nothing happened either. Just school and everyone stayed home.
Now it's October. And actually, we aren't home in Vancouver. We're actually in California. Yeah so we have fall break. We have this because, they wanna let high schoolers relax. High school is really stressful.(Idk you guys have that but where I live we do. I think its only because we start school in July.) but lets get back on track. We're here because tomorrow is James's birthday. And we are celebrating at Disneyland and California Adventures. Its James his family, and I. My parents aren't here. Once we got there we checked into our hotel. We got 3 rooms at the Disney hotel. One room for James and I, one room for his parents, and one room for Lizzie and Kat(Kathryn). Today was just a relax day since we just came in. Then I texted mom that im here.
Me- mom I got here already.
Mom- ok. That's good. Be safe and have lots of fun.
Me- Kay thanks. Love ya.
Mom- love ya too.
Just then someone knocked on the door. I got up and answered it. It was Kat and Lizzie.
"Hey Li. Where's Jay?" Kat
said.
I then thought to myself. Who's Jay?
Just then James came.
"Yeah kat?" he said.
"Pool?" Lizzie asked.
"Yup." James said. Then they left to get ready. "Come on,"James told me. "Lets go tot the pool." I nodded my head then went to go grab my bikini.
"Oh and one thing." I said.
"Yes?"
"Your nickname is jay?"
"Yeah. I mean JAY-MZ its kinda in my name." he said laughing. I laughed too.
"Right" I said then continued to get ready. Once we both finished getting ready, we went downstairs to the lobby to get to the pool. I was just relaxing.
James's Pov
Lila was in the chair sleeping under her sunglasses. I took her glasses off and carried her bridal style. She then woke up. She looked up and saw me. Her eyes widen. She knew what I was gonna do. I jumped into the pool with her in my arms. Once we went in, we raced to the top to catch our breath.
Lila's Pov
James threw both of us into the pool. Im actually not mad. He's the birthday boy and I kinda enjoyed it. Once we got back to the top to catch our breath, I see James and his sisters laughing. I started laughing a little too.
"You're a freakin jerk." I told him still laughing.
"Thanks I know I am." he said laughing. I splashed him with water and then swan up to him and kissed him. Then I whispered something in his ear.
"Lets pull them down." I said. He looked at me and nodded his head we swan over to them and grabbed their hand. Just before they had time to react, we pulled them down with us. They came back up and splashed water in our faces.
"You guy are freakin douche bags." they said in unison. They laughed. We laughed too. We laughed so hard we couldn't even talk. We had such a good time. I love the Lail family. Dont get me wrong, I love my family too, but they are the sweetest and kindest people you'll ever meet. About 2 hours later, we got out of the pool to go and grab some dinner. We went back up to take a shower. After we all got dressed, we went to this place called California Pizza Kitchen. Its really good there. Most of us ordered Alfrdo(sorry cant spell XD) pasta and a big sicilian(Again cant freaking spell for the life of me) pizza. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and just rested. Tomorrow we have a big day ahead of us.
The next day
I got up early to see James still sleeping. I move closer to him and shake him gently.
"yes?" he said weakly.
"Happy Birthday Baby." I told him. He smiled then got up.
"Thank you babe." he said giving me a kiss. I then handed him his present. Inside the box was half a heart necklace. On the back it had my name. I had one too. On the back of mine is said James. If you put it together, it said "James and Lila." of course I wouldn't give him a girly necklace so I had the people make a guy necklace for him and a girly necklace for me.
"Thanks babe. This is awesome." he said smiling.
"No problem." I gave him a peck on the lips then grabbed his hand."Now come on, we've gotta get ready or we'll be late. He nodded his head and headed to the bathroom. I let him use the bathroom first even though I take a long time to get ready. Once he finished, I hopped in the shower. We all finished around 10:30. We all hopped in two cars. James's parents went in one car and Kat, lizzie, James, and I went into the other car. I'm so excited. Off to Disneyland we go!!
(A/N): hey guy!! Yeses!! Finals week is finally over!!! All my stress has been lifted off my shoulders. I am nervous though. My results place me in my 8th grade classes next year. It also also determines if I even get to go to 8th grade next year. Wish me luck. Sooo. Guys there are only 6 chapter left!! I know what im doing for the last chapter but its kinda sad. Now I need your help. Would you guys want the sequel to this book a week after this one finishes or a month after?? Ok I got to go. Thanks for all the support. I love you guys so much!! -Elli
