Amara pov.

I knew where my life slowly started to change, but at the time it could have hitted me with a stick in the face, and I still would have not seen it coming.

It all started on one gorgeous spring day that would have been a waste if I wouldn't have enjoyed it. Slowly the days were becoming longer and the nights were becoming shorter. Sure it was still cold for the time of the year, and yet I wanted to enjoy every little sunlight I could welcome on my skin.

The sun was slowly settling as it was already at the end of the noon, leaving a gorgeous color palette of reddish colors in the sky. The birds were still singing as they were getting ready for the night, and you could see the red, yellow and orange leaves from the last fall stuck on the pavement where I walked.

I loved autumn and all the warm colors it brought with her. In fact i always collected the leaves with my parents when i was younger. But then again I hated the winter, autumn was the best time of the year to enjoy yourself outside, until the cold weather caught up.

My lips curled slightly up, as a smile forms on my face. My hand moved casually to one of my back pockets in my jeans that was located on my ass. I had instantly loved the soft melody that started playing as I had picked it for one of the most important people in my life. I could feel a joyful warmth spread through my body, while the melody gave the person who was calling away.

My eyes scanned over the screen as a picture of a cheerful blond woman was displayed on it. Her beautiful name "Michelle" stands right under it. Quietly I looked at the picture that I absolutely loved. In fact, I made it about 4 months ago.

It was made when we visited Disney land and Michelle had begged me to make a picture of her with goofy. God, she had nearly driven me crazy as she had shrieked, pulled and jumped the whole way until she found her place beside him.

I swear that her smile could not be bigger as I would definitely describe her as a child in the candy store, or atleast after she had eaten all of her favorite candy.

I could not help it, while a smile formed on my face while my mind slowly drifted over the memory again. It was an overall great weekend with laughter, fun and just a fun girl's weekend out. And besides that I had a moment to forget about all the stress I had experienced in school.

We had been friends since forever, well that was at least my answer. but it was actually since kindergarten and from the moment we met we had been inseparable. She was simply somehow the only friend I needed in my life.

Yes, I had people I knew from school, but that was where they stayed. No one came close to Michelle, not in personality, the adventures or even the boring days were no words, where the right amount of words we needed.

For the rest of the people, I simply never felt the need to get them personally involved in my private life. For all my life I was simply just more of some kind of a loner. Besides my parents' efforts to find some more friends, I simply would be wiped off the table as I could not find anyone that came even close to my best friend Michelle.

I needed to admit that when I was little I was always a bit jealous at Michelle's gorgeous golden blond hair that reached just below her shoulder blades. It was straight and smooth, but the best part was that it simply even looked amazing as she just ruffled her hand through it.

Her eyes were a bit small but they had a hypnotizing bright blue color with icy gray strands that made them really stand out if you looked into them.

She had a soft contagious laugh that reminded me slightly like a guinea pig, but it made me laugh every time without her even trying. Beside that her athletic tall and slim body with curvy hips was something most young women would die for. She looked so perfect and still she had confessed to me her struggles she had as a early teen.
