You comforted Edgar as he described what had recently happened to him, how he, Bendy, and Alice had been brought to a Gent Building by the man named Wilson, who then ran horrific experiments on them, thinking them to be dangerous. Every minute of explaining from Edgar, more and more anger bubbled from you. How could this Wilson thrust so much pain and trauma on characters that were practically kids! Then another thought came to mind, "How'd you get out if they had you captured? Joey said he found you outside the building."
Edgar put his hand on his chin as he tried to remember before explaining, "Well... Me, Ms. Alice and Bendy had already been tested on for... what felt like a long time, when all of a sudden, the whole place went dark, I was still tired after all that but I think a man I didn't recognize came and opened the doors to the three of us, telling us to get out of there. Ms. Alice was already too far gone, however, and used the darkness to disappear. Me and Bendy made a run for it, but the bad man must have turned those freaky generators back on as we were suddenly in a lot of pain. Bendy managed to slip away down a drain pipe, but I... I don't remember after that."
You thought about everything as you stood up. Then you heard a voice in the distance that you recognized instantly, "Audrey? Audrey!? Where are you!?" Both you and Edgar quickly bolted out of the little hideout and followed the distressed voice until you reached an old speaker. You grabbed the edges and yelled back into it, "Alison? Alison! It's me! (Y/n)! Are you there?" There was an uncomfortable amount of silence until you heard the angel once again. "(Y/N)!? Oh thank God it's you! Where are you?" Alison called back through. You briefly looked around to check your surroundings before you replied, "In a sewer near a subway station."
"Alright, I'm not far, I promised I'd meet Audrey there, so just stay put, and I'll come find you." Alison said as she left the speaker. "Wait. Who's Audrey?" You asked as you turned to Edgar, who simply shrugged. But you were still glad to have a friendly face down there. To you, that only made Ben and Alice the ones unaccounted for, since you assumed Tom was with Alison. "Well, Alison said we just have to wait, so let's just try and relax in the subway station." You suggested as Edgar agreed, and you took some spare ink to write a note on the wall for Alison before the two of you left.
Before long, the two of you walked through an open gate with a busted up lock to a balcony overlooking a massive city, as the two of you overlooked the place, you thought you heard the sound of some sort of scuffle down on the streets, which quickly faded out. The two of you sat down on one of the couches in the area to begin waiting for Alison and Tom. As you looked far across the city from the window, you felt as if there was something that was... drawing you there, but you couldn't quite pin the idea why. You were just about to close your eyes from how tired you were when you heard rapidly approaching footsteps. You immediately got ready for any sort of scrap when, through the open door, came Alison, closely followed by Tom. "Alison! Tom!" You said as you couldn't keep yourself from embracing the two. Naturally, Tom lightly recoiled but soon returned it.
"I'm so glad you're safe." Alison said as the three of you broke the hug, "But how did you get here?" As you took a step back, Edgar walked up right next to you. You explained your entire story up until that point, noting everything you could remember until the duo were all caught up. "Wow. Seems like you've been having a rough time." Alison said as she cautiously looked around, making sure there wasn't any sort of danger about, "To be truthful, I might have an idea on where Alice is. I've tried getting back in touch with her, but so far, nothing is working. I was afraid I'd have to take drastic measures if we hadn't found each other. But this is hardly the place to talk, let's get the two of you to our hideout on one of the upper floors, and then you, me and Tom can return to look for the others."
"Sounds like a plan. If Alice truly has somehow reverted back to herself before we escaped the first time, then my ability Ben gave me all that time ago should come in handy." You said as the swirl on your hand once again lit up, "But let's get out of here first. We can talk strategy when we're safe." Alison nodded, "But I also came down here to find Audrey. She's another person who's been trapped down here, and she needs my help. So let's get going."
The group of you quickly made it to the nearest lift and headed for the upper floors before you would return to the City of Broken Dreams to find Ben, Alice, and Audrey.
