I was at a red light I look towards Ma and just shook my head she was fast asleep

I couldn't help but stare at her I quickly snapped myself out of the daze that I was in realizing the light turned green

I had finally pulled up to Ma's house and I was gonna wake her up but I remembered that she don't like to be woken up

I carried her out the car to the door using my key to get in and closing the door behind me with my foot taking her to her room

she had a dress on so changing her clothes wasn't hard

i laid her down then put her under the covers as I was getting ready to leave she grabbed my arm

"stay" she said in her sleep voice

" I can't I have to go" I said

"you don't have to sleep just lay here until I fall asleep please" she said

"only because you never say please" I said taking off my shoes getting in the bed

"I hope you wasn't walking around my house with your damn shoes on" she said

"go to sleep" I said chuckling

she got closer to me putting her head on my arm I didn't make it a big deal though

" thank you" she said I chucked

"for what Ma' Kayla" I said

"everything, I know I'm not the best person to be around anymore" she said slowly going to sleep

"your not that bad" I said

" no I'm for real I just be mad all the time and your the only person around so I kinda take it out on you and I really shouldn't so thank you for putting up with me and not leaving" she said

"Ma I think you just drunk" I said

"oh I know I am but I'm serious" she said

I was thinking on what to say but then I heard soft snoring

I woke up and realized that I was laying on someone I jumped but then noticed it was just Justin

I got up took a shower washed my face and brushed my teeth

I decided to cook breakfast and as I was fixing the plates Justin came out

" you cooking for me" he said

" no I made two plates for me and Casper" I said placing the plates on the island with a glass of orange juice and giving myself a bottle of water

"I forgot you can actually cook" he said getting all up in the food

"I'm not Brianna now" I said eating

"yo we got to talk about that" he said

"what" I said

"you can't be coming for Brianna chill on her" he said

"mhmm no" I said

" I'm serious your like one of my best friends and I can't have you picking fights with my girlfriend" he said

"awww you consider me your bestie that's cute just don't let Layla hear that" I said chuckling

"I didn't even know you still consider her as your best friend the way you been acting" he said

"mind your business and eat your food" I said

"Ma for real that girl has really been going through it and you haven't been there one time for her so if you call her your best friend then act like one" he said

"alright" I said

" pinky promise then" he said

"on what" I said

" that you will do better with Layla and that you are going to stop coming for Brianna" he said

"with Layla yes with Brianna I'll try" I said pinky promising back

"how you know I anit want water" he said

"then get one" I said heading towards the bathroom

as I was walking back towards the kitchen Justin was emptying out all my bottles of water

"what the hell are you doing" I yelled

"you know Brianna do only buy spring water but I don't remember purified water tasting a lot like alcohol" he said

"you went in the refrigerator" I said opening it and seeing all the bottles were gone

" yea because that's where people usually keep drinking water" he yelled

"alright Justin that's enough you wasting my shit and you anit pay for it" I said trying to grab the bottle he was pouring out

"Ma' Kayla this is a problem you need help" he said
