The Characters

{*A/N: I know some of you are already familiar with HYD/BOF's characters but to those who still don't quite know them, here's a few description. If you're too 'Lazy' to read this, JUMP TO Volume 1: Part 1 now}

*****MAIN*****

>>Tsukushi Makino - the brave and tomboyish protagonist of the story who came from a poor family but her parents push her to continue to go to Eitoku Academy, an elite school for rich kids, hoping she will seduce a rich man that will take them out of poverty. Though, she is not thrilled about being stuck at Eitoku, she is determined to remain out of sight until graduation. Not until she met the F4, the rich & famous boy group in their school. Thus, officially marks the start of her crazy & dramatic love story.

>>Tsukasa Domyouji - the hot-headed and volatile leader of the F4 group and the heir to the large Domyouji Enterprises. His family is extremely wealthy and influential within Japan. He often uses his power to rule over the entire school by using an infamous red card which he attaches inside anyone's locker that made the F4, particularly him, upset. However, since he met the rebellious Tsukushi, he begun to grow fond and attracted of her.

>>Rui Hanazawa - Tsukasa's best friend and Tsukushi's crush. He is generally quiet, distant, uninterested in people and is said to be autistic, but has a soft spot for his close friends and the model Shizuka Todou, for whom he has harbored feelings for since childhood. His character is a bit complex, and his feelings for Tsukushi are in a nearly constant state of flux varying from annoyance to love.

>>Sojirou Nishikado - the playboy of the F4 and, perhaps, the most perverted of them all. He is incredibly interested in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, which is his family's business. For the most part, he and Akira usually work to keep the peace within the group and following Tsukasa.

>>Akira Mimasaka - is arguably the kindest and most mature member of F4. His family is very powerful in the Japanese underground (in the manga they own a large trading company). He keeps his cool and rarely loses his temper. Akira is also a "madam killer". His taste is set on older women 10 years older than him, this resulted due to his childish young mother, who is only 38 years old. He has a pair of young twin sisters who annoy him due to their extreme affection for him.

***SUPPORTING***

>>Yuuki Matsuoka - Tsukushi's best friend as well as a childhood friend who also went with her to kindergarten, elementary school and junior high. The two work together at a dango shop after school. Yuuki cares a lot about Tsukushi's feelings and does not want anybody to hurt her. She also offers Tsukushi a lot of encouragement and advice about her situation with the F4. Also she has a crush on F4's Sojirou Nishikado.

>>Shizuka Todou - is a rich heiress and a childhood friend of the F4. She and Rui particularly are very close; since their childhood. She began a modeling career during her high school years. She dreams to become a human rights lawyer. She is very kind towards Tsukushi, as she sees her as Rui's romantic interest.

>>Kazuya Aoike - Kazuya is another one of Tsukushi's childhood friends. He enrolls at Eitoku after his family became a bit rich. The F4, though considers him to be a nuisance as the story progresses and Tsukasa simply tolerates him because of Tsukushi's fondness for him. Kazuya is also fiercely loyal to and harbors romantic feelings for Tsukushi, but Tsukushi is relatively clueless and not very quick to pick up what he feels.

>>Makiko Endo - one of Tsukushi's only friends at Eitoku in the beginning of the series. Tsukushi rescues her from inevitable torment after she collides with Domyouji on the stairs.

>>Sakurako Sanjo - she met Tsukushi when she asked for help at Shizuka's birthday party. She acts sweet and innocent, but then lets her true colors show when no one is watching. She tried to befriend Tsukushi in order to take revenge on Tsukasa Domyouji, who told her she was ugly back in her childhood days.

>>Junpei Oribe - a kohai (lower-year schoolmate) of Tsukushi. He appears to be a nerdy boy, with glasses and an oblivious attitude but he is actually a famous model for a well-known magazine, hiding his identity in school through his glasses. Tsukushi sees him as the only other person at school who thinks the same way as she thinks. But despite to this, Junpei actually has a secret motive on befriending Tsukushi.

>>Shigeru Okawahara - the princess of the Okawahara Corporation. She is extremely tomboyish but has a girly side. Shigeru befriends Tsukushi and often asks her to help her get Tsukasa, not realising that Tsukasa and Tsukushi has feelings for each other.

>>Yuriko Asai, Minako Yamano, and Erika Ayuhara - 3 girls who are INSANELY jealous of Tsukushi for the attention she gets from the F4. Alpha Bitches & Clingy Jealous Girls.

**THE FAMILY**

>>Tsubaki Domyouji - Tsubaki is Tsukasa's sister. She is four years older than Tsukasa. When she and Tsukasa were little, she cared for Tsukasa and tried to teach him values because their parents were always overseas. She is one of the few people who is not afraid to stand up to her brother, a trait that Tsukasa secretly admires in her. She sees Tsukushi as a younger sister, and always helps with her relationship with Tsukasa.

>>Kaede Domyouji - Tsukasa's controlling mother. She is the chairwoman of Domyouji Enterprises. She is very clever and devious, and hatches many schemes to break apart her son and Tsukushi, whom she sees as an "insect" that must be squashed for the sake of the family.

>>Chieko Makino - Tsukushi's boisterous and nagging mom. Although she seems to be always provoking Tsukushi to do things she doesn't want to (like being nice & sweet to Tsukasa). She loves Tsukushi and her family very much.

>>Haruo Makino - Tsukushi's submissive father who always gets laid-out of jobs mainly for reasons of being lazy and or at rather times being a gambler.

>>Susumu Makino - Tsukushi's younger brother whose still in Junior high.
