History repeats itself

Chapter 2

Ginny woke up the next morning with a pit in her stomach, no matter how today went, her life would be changed. Ginny got up out of bed and joined her father in the kitchen for breakfast.

G- Good morning

Z- Morning peach, how are you doing?

G- I'm ok, what time are we going to the doctor?

Z- whenever you're ready, it's a walk-in clinic, this way your mom doesn't need to know till we know there is something to know

G- What are we going to do with Austin while were gone?

Z- I'm having a friend come by and stay with him, and dont worry I didn't tell him anything, just that you weren't feeing good so you're gonna go have a check up

G- thanks, can I ask you a favor? if it turns out I'm not pregnant can we just pretend like this never happened

Z- like what never happened?

G- Well I better get dressed, the sooner we go the sooner we get it done with

Ginny ran upstairs and got ready, throwing on leggings and a tshirt. Ginny looked in the mirror, how the hell could she let this happen, everything she had done was to make sure this didn't happen, even though it wasn't confirmed, she was pretty sure she knew what the results would be at the doctor. She grabbed her coat and purse and joined her father, making their way to his motorcycle. Before she knew it they were outside the clinid

Z- You ready for this?

G- Not even a little bit, here goes nothing.

Ginny and Zion made their way inside, checked in and had a seat. Ginny sat with a mountain of paperwork infront of her. Reason for visit-might be pregnant. God even just writing the word made her whole body shiver, soon enough ginny finished the paperwork and handed it to the receptionist. Before long ginny heard a nurse calling her name to come back. Ginny was lead to a small exam room and waited there for what felt like an eternity.
Dr- Good morning Virginia, Im doctor Powell, its nice to meet you. So you are here because you think you are pregnant? Any idea how far along you are?
G- I know im pretty early, If I am pregnant I would have conceived 3 weeks ago
Dr- Ok, so to start I'm going to take a urine sample to test your hormone levels, and we'll take it from there
Ginny went into the bathroom to do her business, then returned to the exam room. Faster then she expected the dr had returned.
Dr- Hello ginny, we got your lab work back and it does look like you are pregnant, now based on the date of your last period you are a bit early for an ultrasound so for now Im just going to prescribe you some vitamins and set you up a follow up appointment. Also because of your age we do also recommend you meet with a counselor about all your options, may I ask if you are considering ending this pregnancy?
G- I'm not gonna lie I haven't thought much about what Im going to do yet, I was kind of hoping the test was wrong before i came in
Dr- I know you must be scared but that is completely normal for anyone in your position, even if you weren't 16
G- if it's ok Id really like to get out of here to digest this all
Dr- of course, you and your father can go to the receptionist for payment and to set up that follow up, congratulations and good luck
Ginny got her things and joined her father in the waiting room, just one look at her and he could already tell what the results were, so he didn't pry. Ginny and Zion left without so much as a word, making their way back to Zion's. Ginny and Zion went straight for the freezer, digging into a pint of mint chip ice-cream.
Z- Wow, I cant believe my baby's having a baby, how are you doing?
G- I'm kind of numb right now, it still feels so unreal,  god I have this living creature inside me and I have no idea what I'm gonna do
Z- I know i've said this before but no matter what you decide, I'm behind you 100%, you want to keep it, Ill be the worlds best grandpa
G- god it's hard to picture you being a grandfather, everything about you screams the opposite
Z- have you thought about how you're gonna tell Marcus? This isn't really a conversation you want to have over the phone
G- Would it be ok if he came here?
Z- while he may not be my favorite person in the world, he's welcome to come over, how about me and Austin go to a movie or something and you invite him over, give you guys time to talk
G- Wow, thank you for trusting me, Ill text him right now
Z- well its not like he get get you pregnant again
(Ginny and Markus Texts)
G-Hey, sorry I've been MIA, I've been staying with my dad in Boston
M- It's ok, I'm just glad you're safe, are you ok?
G- I'm alright, any chance you could get a ride here? My dad said it was ok, and he's taking Austin to see a movie at 4
M- the chance to see you, I don't care if I have to skate all the way there, see you at 4
Ginny told Zion Markus would be there at 4, so she went and took a shower, hoping to somewhat settle her nerves before he got there. A million things were swarming Ginny's mind, how would Markus react? Would he want her to get rid of it? Would he want anything to do with this? Although the future was all mixed up, Ginny knew what she had to do, face the music. After Austin and Zion left, Ginny sat on the leather couch in the living room, waiting till she heard a knock on the door. Without hesitation she swang open the door
Markus- Hello beautiful
