Lost Girl

One night I found a girl near by my apartment.
She seems lost so I asked her where she's going.
She said she lost her parents,they went to get her some ice cream and didn't come back.
I thought to myself maybe they're trying to abandoned her.
I took her to the police station since it's the most reasonable thing to do.

"Where are you from young girl? What's your name?"
The policeman asked.

She said she live not far from there.
So me and the policeman went to the place she told us.
We went to the house and the little girl stayed in the car.
The moment we went into that house,we were welcomed with a really strong rotten smell.
We saw 3 corpses in that house.

There was a man with a knife on his hand.
A woman.
And a child.
The child looks exactly like the girl I found.
We looked at each other.
We both ran back out to look at the car.
She's there.
Looking at us with a smile before disappearing into thin air.
