it's just a prank

before leaving for a car ride with cench, you were scrolling on tik tok and came across a girl pranking her boyfriend that another man paid for her drinks.

you wanted to do this prank so badly but you were scared on how he would react. but you decided to do it anyway

"cee, can i just go grab a drink from the petrol station" you asked him as he was driving.

"uh, yeah sure" he said as he pulled up to the parking spot and handed you money

"do you want anything?" you asked and you got a response "just a redbull please" you nodded and shut the door

i walked into the petrol station and grabbed a redbull for cench then my drink and went up to the register. i paid with my own money and then walked back to the car

"hey, here" i handed cench his drink

"thanks" he replied

"oh wait heres your money" you handed him the same 20 pound note

"what- how did you pay?" he asked staring at you with confusion

"oh funny story actually, the man behind me was like "oh your beautiful, let me do the honours and pay for those"

"what and you let him" he asked as he clenched his jaw

"um, yeah?"

"what the fuck"

"what? you got your money back, be grateful"

"thats not the point, im your man. i pay for you. i gave you the money to pay for it. why'd you let some random man pay for it"

"because then i would save you money"

"i don't care if you spend a thousand fucking pounds in there, i gave the money to you. if i didn't want you to spend it, i would've never handed it to you" he started to get way more annoyed at me and gripped the stirring wheel so hard that his knuckles were turning white

"it's not that big of a deal, he offered"

"so what would you do if i went into the store right now and paid for a beautiful gal?"

"well that's different"

"how?"

"i mean you have a girl, that man probably didn't"

cench just sat there driving in silence and ignored everything you said. the whole ride was just silent on the way back home, until you started laughing

"why the fuck are you laughing?"

"because it was a prank, i paid for it myself"

"what the fuck, why would you do that?"

"its a trend on tik tok" you replied still laughing

"you actually had me bare mad"

you giggled as you said "i love you so much"

"i love you more"
