you and your boyfriend central cee had broken up just about a month ago

you were really sad to be honest

you hadnt been able to eat or sleep properly and you barley left the house until about 2 weeks ago

he had been the best thing that had happened in your life for about 2 years

it was just a simple case of right person, wrong time as you were both not in the right mental state for a while

everywhere you go, there were reminders of him.

like walking past the place where you had your first date, it was spectacular

the scenery, the food and of course the presence of him

you walked past the basketball court where you had watched him show off his new skills as you both giggled and laughed everytime he had missed

then finally you walked past his apartment block.

you felt a shiver down your spine as you wish you could just be in his arms again

i step out of the shower and change into some clothes for the day

i open the curtains in my bedroom and i look at the view of the street

should i go outside and see what she wants?

i stand there just watching her from the window, shes looking around and i see as her gaze shifts up to me

i quickly run out of her view before she saw me, atleast i think

i look up and see him standing there looking back at me

my heart sinks for a split second

i watch him as he practically ran out of my view and with a slight giggle i make my way down the street

i sat down on my bed just on tik tok

im scrolling when a video comes up on my for you page

its really funny

i wouldve sent it to him because we always enjoyed watching little kids fall

it was our thing.

i press the share button as i go and click his name to share it to him

i hesitate

and then i stop

what am i doing?

i sigh and hop into bed ready to sleep

i turn my phone off and get into a comfortable position in bed

then i see my phone light up

i thought i put my phone on do not disturb?

unless he texted me. i remembered i put him as the only person who could text me while i was on do not disturb

i quickly turn to my phone and look at the screen
