Skye's POV

"I know what I am and know what I'm not, im not like the rest I promise you, I listen to spirit I listen to all, watch the energy flow like a water fall, Aaaa aaa Aaa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo. And I heal those in need, restore thy energy, Aaa aa Aa Aa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo. So sing thy song when you are sad, so sing thy song when you feel pain, Aaa aa Aa Aa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo, Aaaa aaa Aaa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo..." I sang as I was tending to my plants. I'm not sure why, but when I sing my song to my plants, they seem to be happier. And if I have a sick plant, they seem to recover within minutes. Sometimes I swore I saw a faint but bright light come from my hands while singing that song. But maybe that's my imagination...right? I don't even know where or how I learned the song. All I know is that I started singing it when I was just a little girl. My Dad would ask me all the time where I heard the song. He stopped asking me when I was 12 years old because he always got the same answer...'I don't know'. I'm 18 years old now and I still have no clue nor do I question it. But my song doesn't just work on plants, it works on animals and people, including myself. It helps with any issues/pain physically and mentally. I like to sing to myself when I feel lonely. Which is most of the time, because I have nobody in my life anymore-

"BEEP BEEP BEEP!" I was drawn out of my thoughts by the microwave practically yelling at me. "Ooo my food is done." I chipped to myself. I quickly ate my breakfast, put water in a bottle filled with ice, and got dressed for my morning walk. I just slipped on a pair of black leggings and a bright red tang top. Then I put my sneakers on, grabbed my bag and headed out the door.

It's now summer time and I like to go for walks in the woods behind my apartment building. Not sure why I chose to walk in the woods behind my apartment building. It's a dense area and there is no trail. You'd get lost if you didn't know your way around. I'm surprised that I myself haven't gotten lost. I somehow always knew my way back home. It actually felt like something or someone was guiding me back home when I've had enough of walking. And there's a pretty park area across the street from my apartment building that has actual trails that I could use.  But for some reason I always feel drawn to this area. I'm so drawn to this area that I even made sure that I could see these woods from my bedroom window, and placed my bed to face the window. I'm sure I sound crazy, but I honestly don't care.

And hour or so had passed and my legs were starting to get tired. "Alright time to head home I guess." Just as I said that my eyes saw a small opening a little further into the woods. "What the hell? I've never seen an open area in these woods. Looks like my walk isn't over just yet." With that being said, it only took another 5 minutes or so to get to the small opening. As I got closer, I could see a big beautiful weeping willow tree right in the middle of the open area. "Wow.." That's all I could say. I've seen weeping willow trees before, but none this big and enchantingly beautiful. I walked to the trunk of the tree, sat on the ground and placed my hand on one of its roots. I felt like I need to sing my song, so I did.

"I know what I am and know what I'm not, I'm not like the rest I promise you, I listen to spirit I listen to all, watch the energy flow like a waterfall, Aaaa aaa Aaa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo. And I heal those in need, restore thy energy, Aaa aa Aa Aa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo. So sing thy song when you are sad, so sing thy song when you feel pain, Aaa aa Aa Aa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo, Aaaa aaa Aaa a aaa, Ohh Ooo Ooh Oh Oh ooo." While I was singing to this tree, the tree root that I was holding was starting to glow. I didn't notice the glowing light until I was done singing and I saw it out of the corner of my eye. "Huh?" As soon as I looked at the glowing light beneath my hand- "SNAP'' I got up and turned quickly to see what that noise was. Within a split second I saw a beautiful light grey wolf with bright green eyes peering at me through the weeping willow tree's leaves. As soon as I made eye contact with those green eyes, I was almost in a trance. Until the wolf turned and ran off back into the beautifully dense woods. Again, this all happened within a split second. A normal person would be scared shitless, but yet, I don't feel scared at all. I actually feel curious and I oddly feel safe. Feeling this strange way, I walked over to where the wolf was standing. There were wolf prints in the dirt and a broken stick. "Well now I know what that sound was." I said as my hands started tracing the wolf's prints. "I need to head home and process what the hell just happened." With that being said, I started walking back home. But the entire way back my body was tingling, as if there was something or someone important to the right of me. Yet, there was no one there...that I could see.

It was dark by the time I made it back to my apartment. "There's no way I was gone that long." I checked the time on my phone. "10:40 pm. Damn, I guess I just lost track of time." As I was walking to the entrance, a tall man with short blonde hair and dark brown eyes appeared out of nowhere. "Hello there, pretty lady. Where'd you come from? You didn't just come from those woods back there did you? You shouldn't walk alone in those woods, especially at night. You never know what's lurking out there." He said with a creepy smile on his face. He smelled of alcohol. And the words 'pretty lady' reminded me of my brother, that was his nickname for me. "Take your drunken ass somewhere else." I stated, trying not to show the fact that he had creeped me out. "Awww. No need to be so rude pretty lady. I was just-" I slammed the entrance door, not giving him a chance to finish his sentence.

I walked up to my apartment, which was on the top floor. "What the fuck happened today? First it was the weeping willow tree, which was beautiful. Then the glowing light while I was singing. Then the grey wolf with those stunning green eyes, that somehow put me in a trance like state. The feeling of being followed-no not followed. The feeling of being guided home. Then the creepy ass man outside. I mean, what in the actual fuck is going on?" I was talking to myself while heating up leftover pasta. I tend to talk to myself a lot. Probably because I don't have anyone to talk to but myself. "You know what, it's late. So I'm just gonna eat and go to bed. I'll process this shit tomorrow." I finished eating and put on light blue pajama shorts, which made my ass look good, and a black oversized t-shirt. Then I walked over to my bedroom window, and stared into the woods. I thought I saw those green eyes again. "Maybe I'm just seeing things."

I made my way to my queen size bed, turned my fan on and got comfy under the blankets. I tried to calm my mind and not think about the creepy man I had encountered. Then those captivating green eyes popped up in my head, and suddenly...I felt safe. "Those green eyes..." I said as I drifted off to sleep.
