Lucas and I headed downstairs to the kitchen, where everybody else was, handing out food to all the kids in the village.

Oliver noticed me coming out and ran up to me. "How did it go?"

I nodded. "It went well. Thanks, Oliver."

He gave me a small smile.

"Y/N," Violet called out as she approached Oliver and me. "Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead."

"How did you know about Lambda? And Adam?" she asked.

I sighed and leaned against a wall. "I come from the same place Lucas comes from, Glory Bell. When I was 2, Lucas and the other orphans escaped. I and some other babies were left behind. Except I was the only baby that survived. So a man named Peter Ratri took me in. I grew up with him and he raised me. I stayed at the Grace Field headquarters and that was my 'home.' When I was 7, I traveled with Peter to some... events that involved demons. When I was 9, I went to Lambda and stayed there aiding the doctors. I stayed there for 2 years until I came back to headquarters. I started mama training when I was 12. Then when I turned 15, I was sent to Grace Field, to aid the mama there. That's when I met Emma and the others."

"You grew up with the enemy?" Oliver asked.

I nodded. The way he phrased it scared me. As if he thought I was a traitor.

"So you know everything that they've planned?" Violet muttered, her fists clenched.

I quickly shook my head and laughed. "I was more or less like a sheepdog to them. They tested  me, they made me do the things they didn't want to. I was like an assistant to them."

"Sorry you had to go through that," she sighed, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"It's fine. It wasn't anything I couldn't handle. And it was a long time ago, I'm fine."

Suddenly, the music rang through the speakers.

"This can't be happening!" Nigel yelped. "It's only been a day!"

"It's early. Too early," Oliver grumbled. "Most of our preparations are complete but– What should I do? What do I do?"

I placed my hand on Oliver's shoulder and gave it a firm squeeze.

"First, we have to get all the kids to the windmill," he said, recomposing himself. "Adam and Lucas can protect there. It's okay everyone! Calm down. They're early but we're prepared. We'll kill the monsters as he planned. By this time tomorrow, we'll be free. We'll be free a day sooner. They're coming. Everyone, grab your weapons and assume your position!"

We all quickly gathered our weapons and got ready to go off into battle.

The plan Sonya organized stated that I was going to help Zack and Pepe eliminate Bayon. So I ran around looking for them. Once I did, we set off into the forest and Zack blew the whistle before setting a bomb off in hopes of getting his attention.
