after that crazy game, the businesswoman took us to a convenience store and started cooking us all food. chota was in the corner trying not to squint as Karube wrapped bandages around his leg. I went upstairs and sat on the bed trying to process what just happened. What is the borderland? why did they choose us? where did the people disappear to? More and more questions started flooding my mind as I started to space out reading my thoughts.

"Y/n."  "Y/n!" Arisu shouted startling me to get my attention.

"Yeah," I say quietly

"Food ready," he says. as I nodded my head and stood up walking towards him.

"Are you okay y/n?" Arisu looked at me worried

"Yes! Yes. I'm fine just tired" I say forcing myself to put a smile on my face and sound happier.

We all sat down around the table discussing what we were doing before we got transported to this place.

"I came here 3 days ago and I was .. doing some paperwork in the office and everyone just disappeared," the businesswoman said

I don't believe her. She started stuttering when she said she was at work and wasn't making eye contact with anyone. Something isn't right. I throw a glare at her and a smirk appeared on the side of her face. She knew what she was doing but she was fooling everyone but not me.

" Us 3 were in a bathroom stall altogether, " Arisu says. that's odd.

"what about you y/n," Chota says

Fuck! Fuck! I can't tell them the truth. Quick y/n think. Think!

"I was going for a run and I stopped to take a breath and the next minute I look up and I got transported to this hell hole" I blurted out to make myself look less suspicious by not stuttering.

We finished eating and I went to talk to Arisu about Chota and his leg.

"Arisu.." "I think we need to find Chota a doctor," I said. You could tell he was in a lot of pain even how much he tried to hide it.

"Maybe we should join another game and try and find him one" Arisu said nervously you could tell in his face he didn't want to play again but we are not getting out of this shit hole if we don't.

I, Arisu and Karube went out to find another game to play to hopefully find a doctor who can treat Chotas leg. we walked up to this apartment complex where a game was held.

there were about a dozen people standing there waiting for the game. I started observing every one of the players. one person with a hat, 2 girls who look like sisters and a group of 3 people with one sticking out the most as he looked like the leader of the group. They were all wearing these weird wristbands with numbers on them. What could they mean? This one person stuck out from the rest he had a black t-shirt on and while jacket on with his hood up coving his face which you can only see 2 blond pieces of his hair sticking out. He looks suspicious. He stood leaning against the wall on his own. As I was observing everyone the automated voice appeared and startled me

Rules: Find the safe zone inside one of the apartments. Don't get hit by the tag. complete in time limit. if not complete in the time frame the bomb that is hidden at the bottom of the apartment will explode.
Time: 20 minutes

There were seven floors to this apartment complex to get the best view of everyone I was going to go to the seventh floor. I started walking to the elevator where Arisu and Karube went up the stairs. I pressed number 7 and went up. I walked to the end and leaned against the balcony. Perfect view I can watch everyone's move. As I was consuming the peace and quietness I heard footsteps walking closer and closer to me until they stop. The blond-haired man was standing right next to me.
