hana was in the dance hall practicing for her upcoming concert when her phone rang. manager kim who was nearby helped hana to answer the phone while hana was still dancing.
while dancing, hana's ears were focused on her manager's conversation with the caller.
"yes, i'm her manager."
after speaking that, manager kim looked at hana with an unexplainable facial expression.
"is he okay?"
hana stopped dancing and walked up to manager kim with a confused face.
"i'll tell her. we'll be there in fifteen minutes," manager kim said before ending the phone call.
"what's going on? what is it?" hana asked him.
"pack your things. we're leaving for the hospital. hye-joon is in the hospital right now," manager kim said. hana gasped in shock. she was stunned for a few seconds.
"hana, let's go!" manager kim shook her body.
hana immediately gathered her things and left with manager kim.
while they were in the car, manager kim explained that the caller was from asan medical center. hye-joon had been in an accident that involved over twenty students.
a drunk lorry driver had run the red light when the students were crossing the street to head towards the subway. a drunk lorry driver had made a fatal crash at the intersection which involved a few cars too.
when hana went on the internet to see any information about the accident, her heart broke. hye-joon was definitely in the accident because his name was on the list.
reportedly, there are 12 students died at the crash site. but hye-joon was not one of them. but still, hana was restless. hye-joon could be in critical condition. the nurse told manager kim just now that hye-joon was being treated but didn't say how bad it was.
manager kim and hana arrived at the hospital in less than fifteen minutes. there were media reporters gathered outside the hospital already.
most of them are reporting regarding the accident and most of all, hana's son wa involved in the same accident too. knowing that hana's son was involved, they know that hana will appear in public with a distress expression. that's what the media reporters want.
"miss hana?" a voice was heard calling to hana when she rushed into the emergency ward.
"that's me," hana replied as she was approached by a nurse.
"please follow me," the nurse told her.
hana and manager kim followed the nurse who was walking speedily. the emergency ward was in chaos. parents were crying, asking about their children, and students were crying and asking for their parents too. it was hectic.
