"...you will need to take a shower.."

"Oh.. alright." Piercer replied, half-expecting that request.

"I suppose you already know where the bathroom is. Take your time, there's no rush." The doctor left the room, leaving Piercer alone again.

He looked over to the bathroom door, unmotivated for the shower, but he had no choice.

Piercer entered the bathroom and started to undress, when he catched a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He starred at his body, full of scars. They gave him bad memories, but he couldn't get his eyes off of them.

Horrid.. I look so hideous...

Piercer washed his hands, then proceeded to get into the shower. He wished he could just wash away those scars, but no matter how deep he dug his nails into his skin, they didn't go away.

He just wanted to cut the scars off, get new skin.

Piercer didn't waste any more time in the shower. He didn't like it there and neither did he want to keep the doctor waiting.

He got out to be greeted by some clothes on his bed. He wasn't sure where those were from, but put them on anyways. They were clean, it gave him a sense of ease. So he put them on and very cautiously opened the door to exit. The doctor had already been waiting for him.

"I see you've found your clothes, good! The kinesiotherapist's office is third to your right in that direction" and he pointed to one of the hallways. "Goodbye." The doctor left, and Piercer was alone in the hallways now, the buzzing of the lights nearly driving him insane.

He listened to the doctors explanation, and quickly got to where he was supposed to be. Piercer knocked on the door, waiting a response.

A muffled "Come in!" could be heard from the other side and Piercer slowly opened the door.

"Ah, Master Piercer! I've been expecting you." The man was seated on a chair, next to a very organised desk. He could spot a few bottles of disinfectant here and there. Piercer found that odd.

"So, as you may know, I will be assisting you throughout kinesiotherapy, any chance you know what that means?" The man got up from the desk, and stepped forward a little, still keeping an odd distance.

"I suppose I have an idea of what it is.." Piercer became a little anxious, and started rubbing his hands, as if he was washing them.

"Well, I'll still explain it to you. Basically, we're gonna get you in a better shape. Your body was unused for quite some time, so it's not recommended to jump into training right away. Consider this a 'longer warm-up'." The man explained.

"Alright.. so when do I start?"

"I think it's best if we start tomorow. I think this is enough for today. Any other questions?" He gave Piercer a slight smile.

"Well, I was wondering.. do you.. know anything about the other three masters physical state..? Were they hurt?" Piercer asked once again, not knowing what response to expect.

"I haven't spoken to them directly yet... But from what I've heard they're fine. Anything else?"

"No.. that's all, thank you. And goodbye." Piercer left the room, feeling a tension leave his body. He wasn't sure where to go, so he just went back to his room.

It was quiet, way too quiet. Piercer was startled when the door opened, but also felt some kind of relief.

"Hello Piercer, how have you been doing?" The therapist lady walked in.

"I'm not sure yet."

"That's fine. In any case, as you may know, you have your first session with me, I'll show you where my office is, and I want you to be there Mondays and Thursdays at 2 pm, weekly. Okay?" She said, as she opened the door once again.

Piercer nodded, unsure of what day it was right then.

They walked in an akward silence for a while, Piercer feeling more uneasy with every step.

"Here we are! Have a seat." The woman opened the door to show a tidy room, with dark red walls, wood decorating them. blinds were opened, letting a warm light inside the room.

"It's quite a beautiful day for winter, don't you think?" She asked as she sat down at a desk full of stacked paper. The woman grabbed them and put them into a cabinet.

"There we go. Let's begin, shall we?"

Piercer had a bad feeling about this, yet he sat down on one of the chairs. He wanted to leave, but he couldn't.

"So, Piercer, I'm going to hand you a list of words, and you will circle the ones you've experienced ever since you woke up. Alright? And please, be honest with me. It's for your own good." The woman handed out a piece of paper and a pen. Piercer shakingly grabbed them and scanned the page.

He didn't want anyone to worry about him. Afterall, it was his fault. He started circling.

Nightmare

Guilt

Hurt

Alone

Paranoia

Memory

Scar

Hate

...

Piercer felt like he couldn't read the whole page, the words were making him remember. He didn't want to remember. It always lead to bad things.

The woman saw that Piercer wasn't good and obviously uncomfortable.

"You can give me the paper any time you feel like it. If it's too much for you right now, it's okay. I figured it'd be more easier this way than to speak about what happened.."

Piercer handed back the paper and the pen. He didn't like the fact that he didn't know wether the pen was clean or not. He felt the need to clean his hands, so he started visibly mimic wiping, as if it was some kind of habit of his.

The woman picked up the sheet and quickly looked over it. It was more than she expected.

"Hm.. alright then, Piercer. If it's fine with you durring our next sessions we'll need to speak directly. I understand you may not like it, but it's necessary." She explained, placing the paper face down.

Piercer didn't like the idea of that, but felt like he was forced to agree, so he just nodded.

"Well then, I'll look over this sheet a little later. Right now, I'm going to need you to elaborate the words you've circled. Is that alright? Here, how about we start with "Alone". Could you explain why you circled it?"

Piercer tried thinking. It hurt to think about it. The word alone reminded him of the dark place he was in, when he couldn't feel anything. Where he wasn't himself. His eyes wandered off, and the uneasyness rose.

He didn't like this place. He didnt want therapy, he never agreed to seeing this woman, he never liked her.

Piercer stayed quiet, and the woman stared.

"Alright then... how about we talk about this tomorow? Maybe a break from all of this will help you clear your mind a little." She said. "You can go now, I heard your friends are going to visit you today."

"Alright, goodbye.." Piercer exited the room and exhaled deeply. He felt very tense there, it was an uncomfortable feeling.
