As the two Hunters exit the long hallway both of their eyes widened when seeing the endless cloudy domain ruled by the Vex that had floating islands fade in and out of existence. "Holy shit. This place is huge!" Sukia breathed while taking a step forward but Frost quickly grabbed her wrist.
"Be careful where you step! It looks like the ground isn't very stable so—" before Frost could finish Sukia yanked her arm away with a retort,
"Will you stop nagging me?! You've been on my ass all day!" The brunette spun around and walked off ahead.
"Uhhh Suki I really think you should listen to him." I tried to warn my headstrong Guardian but knew it was useless.
"I know what I'm doing- GAH!!" And like Frost predicted the ground beneath my Guardian's feet disappeared in thin air and she plummeted down out of sight through the clouds.
"SUKIA!" Frost rushed to the edge of the stable ground and peered over the ledge but she was done long gone and then he turned to me. "Can't you revive her??"
"Yeahhh.. she's still falling." I sighed with a shake of my shell.
About another minute passes before Frost speaks up again, "Still falling?"
"Yup. She's probably having a fun time. Oh- her heart stopped." I floated back a little bit before expanding my metal edges with a twirl and my Guardian manifested beneath me with a gasp as she sprung back to life gripping her chest and it actually took her a second to catch her breath.
"There.. was.. fucking.. no end!" She spoke between pants.
Did she die from a heart attack? I struggled to hold in a snort. Note to self, my Guardian has acrophobia.
Frost walked up to her with his hands on his hips, "Will you listen to me now?"
Sukia looked up at the white haired male with squinted green eyes and gave a loud huff. Since that was the most of a 'sure' he was probably going to get out of her Frost lend her a hand to help the petite Hunter back up to her feet.
"Alright, according to the tracker Nova set on the map we should probably take this path. Again, watch your step." As Frost spoke he gave a fake cough with Sukia's name in between the coughs and her cheeks lit up red.
"Fuck off, asshole!" She shouted at him angrily and punched his shoulder as he burst out laughing but she still allowed him to take the lead.
With quick and careful steps the two Hunters made their way through the floating pieces of land as they faded in and out of existence and shot through whatever simulated enemies appeared in their way until they made it to another floating tower with a similar Vex gateway like before. "Lets keep going." Frost instructed as Sukia gave a nod and they both went through the portal and walked down the hallway that also had patterns similar to my Ghost shell.
