Caught Red Handed

The atmosphere grew intense, and the tent that Damian and the two anthros were in felt as if it shrunk.

"So..... Damian..... How long did you think you would get away with this?" Louis asked, still pointing the gun at Damian.

Damian sighed, before responding, "I don't know, but all good things must come to an end..... isn't that what they say?"

"The only good thing about this is that it gives me a reason to kill you....." Louis stated.

"Yeah you uh..... You never really liked me did you?" Damian replied.

Louis stared at him sternly in quietness.

"By the way, what are you doing here?" Damian asked.

"Legosi invited me to come with the rest of you to this carnival, I obviously rejected because I had better things to do, well at first...... Until I realized that you'de be going too....." Louis answered.

"So you were stalking me?" Damian asked.

"Yes, but for the right reason..... I've been suspicious of you for a while now, and it appears I've been right all along....."

The hyena that was on the ground reached for Louis.

"H-heeelp..... Meeeee....." The hyena struggled to speak, as she was still regaining her breath.

Then, Damian glanced down at her, and slammed the hammer down her head, knocking her unconscious.

".....She was being annoying," Damian said with a straight face.

"Any last words before I shoot you dead?" Louis asked.

"Yeah, uh..... DODGE!!!!!" Damian replied while quickly swingin the hammer and letting go of it, letting it fly towards Louis as it spun.

Louis shot the gun at Damian but missed as he dodged it by lunging himself backward.

The gunshot would've been heard and recognized, if it were not for the loud music playing in the circus, not to mention the fireworks as well.

As for Louis, the hammer struck away the gun he held in his hand and pushed him to the floor.

A *planking* sound was heard as the hammer fell to the ground.

Both Damian and Louis grunted from falling to the ground.

They then stood up and looked at each other before glancing at the gun on the floor.

Quickly, they crawled towards the gun.

Louis reached the weapon first and aim it at Damian, but before he could pull the trigger and shoot at him again, Damian grabbed Louis by his wrist and pushed the gun out of the way.

Louis struggled against Damian as he shot his gun multiple times, each bullet missing to land him.

Damian then pinned him down to the ground by both wrists.

As Louis struggled, Damian slammed the hand that Louis used to hold the gun repeatedly before he shook off the weapon.

"You shouldn't have come here....." Damian said, grinning.

"Ngh, damn you!" Louis replied before slammed his forehead against his, knocking Damian off of him and freeing himself.

Damian fell to the ground and grunted in pain, placing a palm to his forehead.

He then looked at his hand to see blood on it.

"Aaah shit....." Damian told himself as blood drizzled down his face from his forehead, a severe cut was made by Louis's headbutt.
