Dear Diary,
I saw him after a month, after a WHOLE month of his disappearance. But the way I saw him was out of my expectations. I saw him hugging Eva under one corner of a tree. They were embracing each other.
I felt jealous, hurt, broken, disappointed, the mix of all emotions. They appeared so close that I felt like a third wheeler, was I one? Maybe yes.
His eyes then locked on mine. Those hazel brown eyes, where I once saw enlightenment after seeing me, today I couldn’t figure out what they said. I could always figure out what he was going through by looking at his eyes, whether it was happiness, pain or worry. But this time I couldn’t figure out any, they were emotionless…
He slowly broke the hug from Eva, his eyes never shifting away from me and we stood in front of each other for minutes like statue. Neither he spoke something, nor did I.
After a while of silence, he turned his back towards me and went in opposite direction. No replies, no explanation, nothing…
And neither did I expect him to say anything. Afterall there wasn’t anything left between us anymore…
