chapter 3

Jaune was heading towards the emerald forest to train but before he can enter he saw qrow looking at him, he ignore him and went into the emerald forest and started training.

While training he saw 14 grimms he decided to fight them without summoning any of his minions, he killed every single one of the Grimms and only got tiny scratches. He saw qrow still looking at him so he decided to talk to him.

Jaune: you've been watching me since the very beginning.

Qrow: I know your the kid that faked his way into beacon, I want to train you so you can prove everyone wrong but I guess you're already prepared.

Jaune: like I said before I'm already skilled but only hide my true skills.

Qrow: yeah, but I'm good at scythe and maybe I can train you to use it.

Jaune: I'm still trying to master the sword, I'm only going to try to master 1 weapon at a time.

Qrow: I'm impressed kid, of all my years of being a huntsman none of the people I have seen you quickly kill 14 Grimms.

Jaune smiled.

Jaune: welp, I'm good at spears but quickly improving my sword skills, headmaster ozpin calls me a fast learner.

Qrow: you are a fast learner, you only have that sword for at least a month and you're already mastering it.

Jaune: yeah, I'm trying to make a move that can easily cut a Grimms head off. I'm thinking of adding aura but every time I tried it fails.

Qrow: really?

Jaune: yeah.

Qrow and jaune heard a rustling in a bush, they ready their weapons and slowly walk towards the bush and when they looked behind the bush they saw a baby Grimm. Qrow wants to kill it but jaune stopped him, he picked the baby Grimm up and smiled.

Jaune: hey there little guy.

The Grimm smiled and licked his face.

Jaune: what were you doing behind that bush, shouldn't you be with the others?

The little Grimm looked at the ground, jaune realized that the Grimms that he killed is his family.

Jaune: come on little guy, I'll take care of you from now on.

Qrow grabbed jaune by the shoulder.

Qrow: are you insane kid, that's a Grimm.

Jaune: I know, I still want to take care of it.

Qrow: it's dangerous, we don't know if that thing will suddenly start attacking people.

Jaune: yeah, but maybe if I take care of it and teach it what is bad and good maybe it will help us.

Qrow: maybe but we don't know if it will work.

Jaune looked at the baby Grimm while it played with a rock.

Jaune: I know it will.

Qrow sighed and looked at jaune with a serious face.

Qrow: even if you manage to make it good there are still other hunters that will try to kill it.

Jaune: I can ask ozpin if I can keep him.

Qrow: are crazy? If you tell ozpin you have a baby Grimm he will instantly kill it.

Jaune: I know he will accept.

2 hours later

Jaune and qrow entered ozpin's office and jaune showed him the baby Grimm.
