Lennox reached her hand into a hole in the wall and retrieved a large FedEx envelope with 'For Bird' written on it. She quickly made her way to a small crack and pushed the envelope through it.
After tossing her flashlight out of the crawl space, she climbed up to the ledge and hoisted herself up before carefully lowering herself down outside the crypt. She then passed the envelope to John B.
"That's not gold." Pope remarked with disappointment as he saw the envelope.
"Holy shit" John B gasped as he stared at the envelope in his hands. "This is from my dad."
Lennox's mouth parted in shock. "What?"
"Code red. Code red." JJ suddenly called out, standing apart from the group as he noticed car headlights in the distance. "Square groupers! Square groupers!"
The Pogues quickly scrambled to hide in the shadows behind the side of the tomb, hoping to remain unseen by the approaching strangers. However, they struggled to figure out how to turn off their flashlights.
"Lights!" Kie whispered urgently.
Kiara and Lennox were the only ones who managed to turn off their flashlights in a hurry to hide; John B, on the other hand, simply shoved the lantern under his shirt.
"Are you serious, John B?" Lennox grumbled, rolling her eyes.
Pope reached around JJ to turn off the small headlamp on his head. JJ was unfazed by his friend, too preoccupied with his own struggle to put out his barely lit blunt.
"Hey, I see something over there!" An unfamiliar voice shouted.
"Do you think it's them?" Kie wondered as they heard footsteps growing closer to the tomb.
JJ peeked around the edge of the stonewall. "Homie's got a gun."
"Are you sure?" John B asked, tucking the envelope into his shorts.
"Screw this!" Lennox shouted, rising to her feet and raced towards the fence, not caring if she was seen.
With no room for further debate and no opportunity to take the risk of hiding in the shadows to keep themselves safe, the rest of the group followed her.
"There they are!"
"Hurry up!" John B shouted from behind, scrambling and tripping over his own feet. "Go! Go!"
Lennox didn't need to be told twice as she approached the locked gate of the cemetery. One by one, the Pogues quickly climbed over the iron fence and jumped to the ground.
As JJ, Kie, Lennox and John B reached the other side of the cemetery, they noticed that Pope was stuck on the iron fence, his shorts caught on one of the spikes.
"Guys, I'm stuck!" Pope yelled.
Kiara let out a loud snort, completely forgetting about the chase through the cemetery as she hurried to Pope's side. Lennox stood in the middle of the road with John B and JJ on either side of her, all three of them trying to stifle their laughter.
